“Ah, un.” Yi De said as she came over.
“Have a safe trip, Xuan De.”
“Un, see you tonight.” I said goodbye to Gan Qing as I went ahead with Yi De behind me.
“I was packing just now, apologies for the delay.”
“It’s fine, we have a lot of time.” I smiled as I looked at the sky, “Though you were later than I was, I was actually really early.”
It’s actually an hour before the time Yi De and I agreed to meet after all.
“Ah, un.” Yi De nodded and sank into silence for a moment before speaking up again, “But may I ask what is it?”
“What is what?”
“The business we will be attending to today and the reason why you will be bringing me along.”
“Ah… That huh…”
Of course I have to bring you. After thinking back and doing my best to recall what was supposed to happen, I recalled that Zhang Fei was supposed to be with me there.
— I would very much like to say this to her but the last part will only trouble Yi De so I decided against it.
“Un… See, everyone has been very busy of late.”
“Eh?”
Wu! No! How could I say such a thing?! It sounds as if Yi De has nothing to do.
“No no no, don’t misunderstand me, Yi De. What I meant is I need you now.”
“Need me?” Yi De asked as she tilted her head.
“Un.” I nodded, “I can’t say it very clearly but to put it simply, I hope that you can come along with me for this.”
When I finished, I looked at her with sincere eyes. Yi De met my gaze but very soon looked away frantically as she nodded, “A-alright, I got it.”
Alright, Yi De seems to understand it, or rather she let it go. Good, the less she asks the better for me.
“Then what do I need to do later?”
“Eh?”
“Yes, since you are bringing me along, is there any task you need me to do?”
“Task huh…”
s.h.i.+t. I never considered this. It’s not just her, I do not even know what I am supposed to do. I do not remember how the meetings with Zhuge Liang is supposed to go but it’s definitely not going to be a nice happy, heartwarming discussion after knocking on her doors.
“Ah… We will discuss that later.”

I decided to buy some time for now and do my best to think about what I needed to do. Good thing Yi De went along with it. But why did Liu Bei bring Guan Yu and Zhang Fei to see Zhuge Liang? It does not seem like they did anything of note…
“My lord, Lord Zhang Fei, I’ve brought your horses.” Liao Hua said as she came over. Naturally, I was not going to ride Dilu.
“Ah, oh. Thanks for your hard work.” I nodded as I took the reins from Liao Hua.
“Here, Lord Zhang Fei.”
“Oh, thanks.” Yi De nodded.
“Will you be leaving now, my lord?” Liao Hua asked.
“Yes, I’ll be trying to invite that saint out.” I said as I mounted my horse, “I didn’t think that it would be Liao Hua who would be bringing my horse though.”
“I didn’t know that my lord was leaving.”
“Eh?”
“Lord Chen Gong told me about it and I happened to have something to bring as well so I brought the horses over for you.”
