1412 Moments After Awakening (1/2)

Snowy Lionet, who already ate and was sleeping across his chest and belly, found it was no wonder that he had nightmares!

Zhang Zian was anxious to know whether or not if he was still a man. He waved Snowy Lionet off of him, got out of bed and hurriedly touched himself; fortunately, all his parts were still intact.

He weakly collapsed on the bed and broke out in cold sweat from fear.

”Meow! I wanted to get you sterilized, but I don't think you bathed for quite some time. How terrible! I didn't want to get my claws dirty, so I'll let you stay a man for a little while longer!” Snowy Lionet hummed and then ran away.

”Your Majesty! You're awake! I was so anxious for you! It's so hot, let me lick your hair to cool you down!” When Fina woke up, Snowy Lionet's attitude instantly changed.

Zhang Zian wanted to sit up, but he had lied down for so long that his whole body seemed to be falling apart. Even if he ran a marathon, he would not have been so tired.

On top of that, his stomach grumbled in hunger and his lips were cracked with thirst.

He barely got up from the bed and saw the elves in the room waking up.

Instead of sleeping in their usual sleeping spots, they had gathered near the single bed.

It seemed that everyone except Snowy Lionet had gone to sleep. They left Snowy Lionet outside to take care of them. However, she was only allowed to do her job and nothing more. She spent all day thinking about how to castrate him...

”I am hungry.”

He took a deep breath and was about to express his feelings and thanks to everyone, but was interrupted by Fina's cold words.

Fina wasn't trying to tell him she was hungry. What she meant was that being hungry put her in a bad mood. If he was smart enough, he should've looked past the nonsense and immediately prepare food.

Along with Fina, Old Time Tea and Famous were also hungry.

”Zhang Zian, I don't want to hide it from you, but I'm so hungry...” Old Time Tea smiled bitterly.

Famous paid no attention and went straight downstairs to find some dog food to eat. He had secretly taken some dog food by itself and found that it tasted really good.

”Whoa, the bathwater smells! There are algae all over! It's disgusting!” Shihua screamed in the bathroom.

”Quack!” Richard helplessly spread his wings as a stench emerged from his anus, ”I wasn't prepared enough and took a few more bites before going to bed...”

”What the?!” Zhang Zian said in disgust. He wrapped his head and ass with a towel and threw it into a bin that opened and closed on its own.

”Huh?”

Richard's protest was muffled inside the lid of the trash can.

”Squeak! Squeak!”

As soon as π opened his eyes, he anxiously turned on the computer and saw numerous posts in the comments section asking why the author didn't post an update recently. In response, he quickly added a note that stated that he was on leave because he fell ill.

”Meow...” Xinghai tilted its head and looked around. ”Everyone is awake, that's good...”

Yeah, everyone woke up, that's great.

Vladimir jumped on the window sill, looked outside and said, ”It seems that the insect disaster is over, and everything outside has returned to normal.”

Zhang Zian wanted to know what day it was now? How long was he asleep?

He picked up the phone but found that it ran out of power and shut down.

He plugged the phone into the charger, walked to the window to open it, and smelled the fresh air outside. This was when he realized that the air inside was dirty, stuffy and smelly in comparison.
