That group of pupils always put their feelings into hamsters. At first, they put the male hamster and the female hamster together, claiming they wanted to give the baby a healthy and warm home. Zhang Zian repeatedly stressed that the hamster could not be mixed together to be reared several times before they gave in. Otherwise, they would only see the female hamster and the skin of the male hamster.

Besides for the hamsters during mating, the hamsters definitely could not be reared together. The animals were often cannibals, and if they were not careful, it would cause those who had them as pets to witness a tragedy between hamsters.

They did not have any guilt towards their same species, and because of that, when female hamsters gave birth to baby hamsters, it was even more dangerous. It could not be scared, otherwise, the female hamster could kill the baby hamster that was just born or eat it.

Zhang Zian, as an adult, had wide steps and ran fast as soon as he saw quite a few primary school children rush to the side of the hamster cage to watch the process of the baby hamster being born. He instantly ran two steps to stop them.

”Don't all go together––two to three is enough. If there are too many people the female hamster will be scared,” he said.

Wang Yaning frowned again. ”But we need to submit a rearing report. Observing the complicated birth process is a very important event!”

Zhang Zian was very worried for her future. If it continued like this, perhaps before she was 30 years old, her forehead would be full of wrinkles…

”Don't be so old fashioned. People must learn to be versatile and adaptive. You can have two or three representatives that will record the whole birth process using their phones and then they can share it with other people to see. Isn't this better? A recorded film can be watched as many times as you want,” Zhang Zian said.

Nowadays, many primary school children had their own phones. Of the primary school children present, at least half of them had their phones with them.

When he got close to the hamster cage, Zhang Zian held his breath and observed carefully, only to see a plump, hairy, female hamster sitting in the sawdust like a ball waiting for delivery. She was just sitting, which was a special feature of hamsters. They were used to sitting and giving birth, rather than standing or lying on their side like many animals.

Not long after, a baby hamster that was purplish red appeared from the female hamster's stomach. The baby hamster's body was smooth, with not a single hair on it. Its eyes were also closed, and where the eyes should have been were two blurry black spots.

Little Celery mouthed and asked, ”This is the baby hamster?”

Zhang Zian nodded soundlessly, not blaming her for her question. A hamster that had just been born was very different from a mature hamster.
