829 Rabies (2/2)

Most people keep their cats in their houses, except for taking them to the clinic for medical examinations or sterilizations. Besides that, they may not leave their homes for the rest of their lives, so there was no possibility of them contracting rabies.

It was not easy to be bitten by your own dog but raising a cat… Which cat owner has not been scratched or bitten? If you have to get a vaccination every time you are bitten or scratched, then it wouldn't really be possible to raise it anymore.

”Wang Qian, go call a taxi to the nearest health and epidemic prevention center,” Zhang Zian called out.

Wang Qian hurriedly ran out of the door to call for a taxi.

Zhao Qi and another kind-hearted customer held onto the weak Liu Weiying as they walked out of the shop. They all entered the taxi together with Yue Yue.

”Shop Manager Zhang, this cat… what should we do about it? It can't just be left here, right?” a customer asked as it pointed at the cat bag.

Everyone was afraid of the cat bag, and no one dared to approach it. They were all afraid that the sick cat would jump out from the inside and injure people. Even though they knew that it was close to impossible, everyone didn't want to take the risk.

”Find a way to kill the cat, and then throw it away with the bag! Don't take it out… What if it hurts someone?” someone suggested. ”Since the cat is going to die anyway.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

”No, it's not that simple.” Zhang Zian dismissed the proposal. ”An animal infected with rabies simply cannot be handled like this.”

He bent over and picked up the cat bag, then said to Lu Yiyun and Wang Qian, ”I'll head out for a while and go to the pet clinic in the north. I'll be back soon, so you guys can take care of the shop.”

The two of them nodded. ”Master, be careful…”

”Hold on! This queen is coming too!”

Fina jumped down from the cat tree and left the pet shop, following behind Zhang Zian.
