”What about raw beef brisket? Does the movie theater sell raw beef brisket as a snack?” Snowy Lionet asked with interest.
Famous answered the bizarre question, ”I don't think raw beef brisket is a snack anywhere.”
”I'M NOT GOING! I'll have nothing but my own saliva to eat. I'm not going to suffer!” Fina said furiously.
”Meow! Your majesty, if you're not going, neither am I!” Snowy Lionet rolled its eyes and said, ”If all of you go see the movie, I can stay alone with Fina in the shop.”
Zhang Zian coughed and said, ”It doesn't matter. The theater is open exclusively to us today. We should be able to bring our own snacks, whether it's raw beef brisket or dried fish. Bring whatever you want.”
He wasn't sure if they could bring snacks with them, but since the theater was going to be empty, it should be okay.
Zhang Zian rarely allowed Fina to eat dried fish because all it did was eat and sleep all day. Fina had already consumed roasted chicken, if it ate dried fish, it would turn into a fat meatball!
”In that case, I'll come with you. The theater will become more brilliant with my arrival.” Fina said proudly.
Zhang Zian was accustomed to Fina's arrogance.
”Meow! Will there be other humans?” Galaxy asked worriedly.
”No.” Zhang Zian assured it. ”Only us. We can even play hide and seek among the chairs.”
”Meow! Galaxy is going to the movie theaters! Galaxy is going to see a movie!” Galaxy danced with joy.
It was needless to say that Old Time Tea would be glad to go to the theater with them. Although it was old, Old Time Tea was curious about anything new.
Richard appeared from underneath the blanket and rubbed its sleepy eyes. ”Hey! What are you talking about? Watching a movie? Where was the movie made? Has the movie starring Billy Herrington finally been released in China?”
Zhang Zian corrected it. ”It's Famous's movie. It isn't the type of movie you usually watch, and it has nothing to do with Billy Herrington! You won't ever be able to see his movies in theaters.”
”Oh! What a bummer! Anyway, I'll come with you, just in case you don't understand the lines in foreign languages!” Richard was condescending as usual. ”Can you prepare dried fruit for me?”
”You were listening, weren't you? Why did you pretend you didn't hear anything?” Zhang Zian knew that Richard mentioned the porn star on purpose.
Richard didn't blush, it simply landed on Zhang Zian's shoulder and said, ”Don't be so prude! I haven't left the house in a long time, and I long to see beautiful faces outside.”
Since he didn't have much time and had to prepare snacks for the elves, Zhang Zian shooed Richard away and went downstairs.
Snowy Lionet quietly followed him. Once they were in the hallway, Snowy Lionet grabbed Zhang Zian's pajama and whispered, ”Put my raw beef brisket and Fina's little dried fish in the same bucket. I want to ignite my love with Fina! Do you hear me? If you don't do what I told you, I'll castrate you!”
Are you sure these two things will go well together? Zhang Zian wondered.
He went downstairs, hastily cleaned up the shop and opened the shop door. He started packing various snacks into his backpack—little dried fish, raw beef brisket cut into small pieces, dried fruit, and a flask filled with hot tea for Old Time Tea.
Zhang Zian forgot to ask Famous what it wanted to eat, but it wasn't a picky eater so he prepared beef jerky for it.
Soon, Lu Yiyun came in.
She was surprised to see Zhang Zian putting food into his backpack.
She placed her drawing board on the counter and asked curiously, ”Mr. Store Manager, haven't you finished shooting the movie?”
”Yes, but I still need to go out today.” He said casually, ”I'll be back before noon. Please take care of my shop in the morning.”
”Oh, all right.” Lu Yiyun calmed down. With Zhang Zian in the shop, she wouldn't have to deal with customers herself.
Everything was ready. Zhang Zian put the elves into his cell phone and left for the movie theater.
