24 Like father, liar son (2/2)
I can hear Magi-kun grit his teeth at my response.
Ok, answer by saying this is payment for looking into me.
”This is payment for the plant... plus you were the first person I found, why bother looking for a servant when a perfectly fine specimen was right in front of me.”
Aww, look, my baby is all grown up. Adding on to my answer and further enforcing your reasoning by using your personality, so proud.
Magi-kun scowls at me from the corner of his eye.
Blaze-kun seems to accept that answer, knowing how lazy Magi-kun is and agreeing with that fact that he owes Magi-kun for looking into his bonsai. ”...Ok, then if there's nothing else, I'll be leaving. Please tell me if you find anything with my bonsai,” Blaze-kun says as he dazedly leaves the lab.
Magi-kun takes a deep breath, sighs, then stomps over to me. He then proceeds to PLUCK A LEAVE FROM ME.
What the hell, man! I didn't think trees had pain receptors, but that hurt like a mothertrucker.
”Hmph, I need one of these to collect more data,” he says as an obvious excuse. Magi-kun then shifts his body to the left of me and starts to stretch his arm out, but stops to see a line of leaves leading to the machine he was about to use.
”You... what did you do while I was gone?” He looks at me wide-eyed and questionably.
