Sitting in the car, Ye Ranni asked Ye Linshen worriedly, “How about calling Sichen before we go there? Otherwise, what should we do if he wasn’t at home? I’m afraid it is not a good idea to visit him without appointments.”

Ye Linshen smiled with confidence, “He won’t. What we should do is to knock the door and walk in the room. And then, you should do as what I have told you.”

Ye Ranni thought for a while and nodded, “Alright.”

Then Ye Ranni got out of the car and walked to the gate of the villa.

Two gatekeepers outside the gate saw Ye Ranni and stopped her directly.

Ye Ranni frowned, “I’m coming for my brother. I have an emergency!” She said to the gatekeepers, pretending the situation was quite serious.

But the gatekeepers said coldly, “Do you have an appointment? If you do, please show me the number.”

Ye Ranni felt embarrassed. She raised her head and said immediately, “I am Ye Sichen’s sister. Why do you stop me?”

“Sorry, Miss Ye. We have to obey the orders from Mr. Ye. Besides, he is too busy to meet anyone right now. You’d better leave here. Please don’t make it embarrassed for both of us.”

After hours of persuasion, the gatekeepers remained ruthless and asked her to leave.

Then, Ye Ranni got in the car in a low spirit.

“They won’t let me in. I’ve already told you that we’d better call him before we go, but you didn’t do as I said. You see, we failed.” She complained.

Ye Linshen frowned and took out his phone, then called Ye Sichen. Fortunately, the call had been through, but Ye Sichen’s secretary answered it for him.

“I think you’d better tell Ye Sichen to come and see me for the last time. After all, I’m his brother, and he wouldn’t be so cold-blooded.” Ye Linshen said.

The secretary was silent for a moment and said, “OK, I’ll tell him. But he is really busy now. I’ll tell him when he’s free.”

“I need to see him now! You’d better tell him that if he doesn’t come to see me, I’m going to drive to hit the gate. Of course, I’m sure you watchdogs will pounce on me. That’s OK. I’ll call some reporters to see how he tried to kill his brother.” Ye Linshen hung up the phone before the secretary answered, and then stared at the gate with cold eyes.

“What should we do now, Linshen?”

“Just drive right through and hit the gate.” Ye Linshen ordered the driver.

It was too late for Ye Ranni to stop him. The driver had already stepped on the gas and drove right to the gate. The two gatekeepers tried to stop the car but failed. They had to take out the weapon they were carrying, aimed at the car and pulled the trigger.

However, concerning about the boss’s reputation, they didn’t dare to shoot Ye Linshen for real. After all, Ye Sichen didn’t give them the order. They just wanted to scare Ye Linshen to go back. But the latter was not afraid of the bravado. Instead, he let the driver drive the car to hit the gate.

One of the two gatekeepers reported the situation on his walkie-talkie, while the other only fired into the air for fear of hurting Ye Linshen.

“Bang!” The iron grating of the gate was bent.

Ye Sichen stood on the balcony, watching this scene with gloomy face. He said to the secretary, “Let them in.”

Soon, Ye Linshen entered the villa as he expected.

Ye Linshen was very proud of this, showing off in front of Ye Ranni, “See? He is a sheep if you are a lion. He won’t compromise until you take some rude measures.”

Ye Ranni did not make a sound, just gave him a worried glance.

She didn’t think it was that simple.

Before entering the living room, they had already seen Ye Sichen who was dressed in black casual clothes. He looked thin and even gaunt.

Seeing him, Ye Ranni smiled and walked up to him, calling him brother and then took his arm intimately.

Ye Sichen paid no attention to Ye Ranni, but to the iron grating that had been bent, frowning, “Who did this?”

Ye Ranni looked a little scared and then looked at Ye Linshen, who was sitting in his wheelchair calmly.

Ye Linshen answered, “I did. Because only in this way will you meet me.”

“What do you want? We have nothing to say.” Ye Sichen said with a sneer.

Ye Linshen was about to speak but stopped, looking at Ye Ranni. Ye Ranni said sadly, “Sichen, Linshen’s time is running out, and he wants a formal farewell. We heard that you will hold some concerts, so let’s have a special show of Ye’s family band, shall we? Sichen, you are a very kind person. I’m sure you won’t let him down, right?”
