The terms of the agreement were harsh and overbearing. Ye Sichen was required to perform 50 concerts within three months. If he failed to do so, which meant he broke the contract, he would have to pay double compensation to Yuezhao Organization for their loss. Xia Nuan sighed. She had no idea how to tell Ye Sichen about it.

Xia Nuan was ready to leave with a heavy heart, but two tall men appeared suddenly. They stood in front of her and stopped her from leaving. Xia Nuan was shocked and turned around to look at Mrs. Baili.

Mrs. Baili looked at her with a sneer on her face.

“What do you mean, ma’am?”

Mrs. Baili spoke slowly, “I think you should stay in here and learn from me, because you are too soft-hearted.”

Right after Mrs. Baili finished, the two men gestured Xia Nuan to go.

Although she was grounded in this place, Mrs. Baili did neither threaten her to do anything she was unwilling to do nor embarrass her. She just forbade her from leaving her sight.

Ye Sichen showed up at Mrs. Baili’s house. Seeing Xia Nuan standing next to Mrs. Baili, he felt more furious. But he controlled his anger soon, then looked at Mrs. Baili coldly.

“Mr. Ye, I asked you here to discuss the contract.”

Ye Sichen said flatly, “Yes, I’m also here for the contract. This contract is void. It was signed without my permission. Therefore, the agreement should be nullified and not recognized in law.”

Then he looked at Xia Nuan. She felt flurried and looked away.

She knew that he was blaming her for taking the initiative to take him in Yuezhao Organization.
