“I will wait for you at home.” Nianci said.

Xia Nuan accompanied them for a while, and then left the villa. She drove alone to that town.

Xia Nuan was led into a rental room which belonged to a mid-age woman. She helped that woman yesterday, but she didn’t know that woman was Mrs. Ni.

Soon, Xia Nuan went into the rental room. However, there was no one but Ge Li.

“Where is Ye Sichen? I want to see him.”

Xia Nuan asked directly.

Ge Li smiled slightly, and then she poured a glass of water for her, “He is not back yet. What can I do for you? Tell me and I shall let him know.”

Xia Nuan shook her head coldly, “It’s all right. I’m afraid I can’t tell you that, because I need to speak to him in person.”

It seemed that Ge Li knew that clearly. So, she said something to discourage Xia Nuan, “Well, the reason why I let you in is that I want Mr. Ye to break up with you thoroughly. And then you can give up absolutely.”

Xia Nuan just kept silent. Then she glanced at Ge Li and sat there quietly.

Ye Sichen was decadent when he came back. After Paul and Bill told him Xia Nuan had come here, he didn’t say anything and went straight to the room.

Xia Nuan recognized Ye Sichen the moment she saw him. He was in dusty and travel-worn. So, she was relieved to stand up and called out his name gently.

However, Ye Sichen gave her a cold look, “Xia Nuan, as I said, we have divorced. So, please don’t stay in touch with me.”

“I’m just wondering,” Xia Nuan paused for a moment. Although she was so upset, she asked with a trace of expectation, “Were you serious on the phone?”
