According to the address Ge Li gave him, Ye Sichen drove into a remote place. Finally, they arrived at a quiet town. There were fish sellers, butchers and vendors on both sides of the streets, making it an alive place.

Ye Sichen and Ge Li passed those stalls and got to a rental room.

“She’s inside.” Ge Li said in a whisper.

Ye Sichen walked in and looked around. It was a simple room with a bed and a table. On the table, there were several teacups and a thermos which obviously had existed for years.

But no one was in here.

Ye Sichen frowned, then he turned to Ge Li, “Who is that person?”

Ge Li was looking for the person all round, but her efforts were in vain.

“Sir, the person is very important to you. I’m not lying. She is always in here. I don’t know why she wasn’t here today. How about us waiting here a little longer?” Ge Li said.

Ye Sichen accepted her advice and waited. However, hours later, the owner of the room still didn’t come back.

Ge Li was a little worried, so she let Ye Sichen stay here while she looked for the person outside.

“Sir, I’m so stupid. I should have sent people to protect her all the time.” Ge Li’s face was full of anxiety.

Ye Sichen looked at her seriously, “Did you get any news about her in the town?”

Ge Li shook her head, “No.”

He asked Ge Li to tell him her appearance, then he sent people to help with the search…

Xia Nuan drove to an amusement park with the three kids. For fear that someone might recognize them, all of them wore masks. At the amusement park, the kids had a good time. Xia Nuan accompanied them to play the children’s slide and Ferris wheel. She had acrophobia, but she forced herself to overcome her fear of height. She was there for the kids all the time.

When the kids got hungry, she decided to take them to eat fried chickens. At this moment, a woman with disheveled hair was chased by someone. She was running crazily in the crowd while seeking help.

The crowd was in disorder immediately.

Xia Nuan was about to take the kids away from the crowd. But that woman knelt down on her feet and grasped her constantly, “Help me. Someone wants to catch me!”

Xia Nuan looked at the frightened middle-aged woman with compassion.

She held the woman up and got into the car, “Put on this, and these clothes.”

The woman did what Xia Nuan asked, putting on the clothes and a mask that looked like Xia Nuan’s.

“No one will recognize you like this.” Xia Nuan said.

The woman looked at Xia Nuan in gratitude and nodded, “Thank you.”

“Where do you live? How about I send you home?” Xia Nuan asked.

The woman became alert.

Xia Nuan sensed it and said sincerely, “Relax, I won’t hurt you. I just want to get you out of trouble. That’s fine. If you don’t want my help, you can get out of my car.”

The woman was touched, so she chose to stay in the car, “Please send me home. I live in the suburb…”

Her voice was old and weak.

So, Xia Nuan asked the driver to start the engine and headed to the address.

Then she had another female safeguard waited in the amusement park to protect the kids, while she would get back after she sent the woman home.

They stopped in a town. The woman got out and kept saying thanks to Xia Nuan, and then she headed towards her rental room.

After saying goodbye, Xia Nuan asked the driver to drive towards the amusement park.

Right at that moment, she saw Ge Li and Ye Sichen inside the rental room.

Ge Li was crying and Ye Sichen was comforting her. He handed her a tissue and asked her to wipe her tears.

But Ge Li wouldn’t stop crying and suddenly threw herself into Ye Sichen’s arms.

Seeing this, Xia Nuan felt uncomfortable. Although she knew Ye Sichen was acting in front of Ge Li, the scene still made her jealous.

She stared at Ye Sichen and Ye Sichen stared back at her. When their eyes met, a strong and familiar feeling occurred.
