Mi Ke’r’s face turned worse than before. Seeing that, her assistant stopped talking. Then he plucked the petals as Mi Ke’er ordered and put them all into a big box.
Then, he asked Mi Ke’er what to do next.
Mi Ke’er wrote an address on paper and handed it to the assistant, “Send the box to this place.”
Assistant was curious about it. But seeing Mi Ke’er’s serious attitude, he said nothing and did as she ordered.
Lacy was unhappy before receiving Mi Ke’er’s package. But suddenly he was excited when he watched the big box.
He thought that maybe Mi Ke’er chose to forgive him. So, she hid herself in the box as a gift to give him a surprise.
Thinking of it, he couldn’t wait to open the box. But after opening it, he found there was a box of petals.
These petals came from those roses he sent to her. But now she gave it back to him in this way. He was dispirited leaning on the sofa. His face became more and more melancholy.
Lacy knew that Mi Ke’er still didn’t want to forgive him.
He felt annoyed.
“Call the man, and let him do as what I say.” He phoned a number and ordered.
After hanging up, he showed a confident smile. He lay down on the sofa and thought for a while. Then he started carrying the box.
Mi Ke’er was packing up papers when she got a call. “Dr. Mi Ke’er, I’m Mr. Lacy’s agent. Mr. Lacy gets skin allergy after receiving your package. You must come here and treat him, or we will charge you as intentional assault if his condition gets worse.”
The caller was Lacy’s agent.
After hearing it, she frowned and asked, “What’s the connection with his illness and me?”
“You have sent him a box of petals, and he is allergic to flowers, so he broke out in a rash. Isn’t it your fault?” The agent said plausibly.
Mi Ke’er thought it was ridiculous. She never knew that Lacy was allergic to flowers. If he did, why didn’t he get skin allergy when he sent flowers to her?
When she was thinking about Lacy’s purpose, the agent spoke again.
“It’s your fault, so you must become responsible, or we will charge you as intentional assault. I believe if I do that, you will be revoked medical license.”
Mi Ke’er gritted her teeth and suppressed her anger, “Let him endure for a while, I will come to him soon.”
Then, she hung up and thought for a while. Finally, she decided to drive to Lacy’s villa.
When she arrived there, she went into Lacy’s villa with his agent. But she didn’t see him. She took a glance at this place, and then she asked his agent where he went.
The agent said that Lacy was taking a shower at the swimming pool, and he wanted to clean up the allergic skin. So, she sat here and waited for him.
“Dr. Mi Ke’er, the aim you come here is treating Mr. Lacy, instead of just sitting here.” The agent meant that she should go to the swimming pool.
So, Mi Ke’er followed the agent and went to the open-air swimming pool behind the villa. The water of it was blue and clear, and the scenery was great. Lacy lay on the bench of the swimming side and kept scratching his back.
Seeing this, Mi Ke’er frowned. She went toward him and asked, “How are you?”
Lacy’s eyes were full of joy when he saw Mi Ke’er. But he hid the emotion immediately and said, “You sent me a box of petals, and I thought you want me to take a petals shower. But I didn’t expect that I am allergic to pollen. And now my back is full of pimples. See it.”
Lacy seemed to be aggrieved, and he showed his back to Mi Ke’er. As he said, there were full of pimples on his back. Mi Ke’er frowned and went up to him. She took out the medicinal liquor.
“Don’t touch or scratch. I will help you do a diminish inflammation.”
Lacy stopped fidgeting and went back to her. She took a swab and soaked some medicinal liquor. Then she wiped Lacy’s back slowly.
Lacy stared at her.
Mi Ke’er felt uncomfortable, so she looked down to avoid the eye contact.
“Mi Ke’er, why did you sent me the petals?” Lacy asked suddenly.
“If you send me flowers again, I will send it back to you. So, you’d better not waste your time on this thing.” Mi Ke’er said.
