Chapter 184 Acquittal (2/2)

“Sir, the man who framed Su Weiwei is called Wen. Master Linshen sent him.”

When Ken and Ye Sichen got into the car, Ken said.

Ye Sichen tightened his hands, “Is he willing to surrender himself to the police?”

“We have controlled him currently, but he refuses to cooperate with us.” Ken said.

“Hand the witness and evidence to the police station and make him pay for what he did to Su Weiwei.” He told Ken.

Ken nodded.

Uncle Xiang drove to the manor.

Seeing through the rearview mirror, he was pleased, “Finally, Su Weiwei’s parents’ conscience forced them to withdraw the lawsuit, because they knew they would feel guilty all their lives if they wronged you. Sir, next time when you want to help someone, please be careful to prevent those greedy parents from taking advantage of you.”

“They just wanted money. I suspect if you gave them a sum of money behind my back. For me, that’s a bad idea.” Looking at the scenery passed out of the window, Ye Sichen said seriously.

“No, sir. We didn’t give them a penny. They suddenly withdrew the lawsuit. I think they did this out of guilt, just like Uncle Xiang said.” Ken explained, “It may also attribute to the power of fans. Ever since the case was set up, as far as I know, there were many death threats sent to Su’s family. I didn’t stop them, because that’s what they deserve.”

Ye Sichen frowned. “The death threats need to be stopped. This is intimidation. It’s illegal.”

However, even if the fans did so, they didn’t withdraw the lawsuit at that time. He knew clearly that there was someone behind them.

And that man had a partner in Ye’s family. In fact, it was his brother who always aimed at him.

There must be some reason behind the withdrawal of the lawsuit. However, he was kept in the dark.

Outside, the fans blocked the way and the reporters followed them.

Ye Sichen rolled down the window and waved to those followers, then he rolled it up. The car went straight to the manor. However, it was also blocked there.

He looked at the manor getting closer, thinking about the undressing check of that day, which was like a shadow lingering in his mind.

That day was a nightmare for him.

“Uncle Xiang, go to Mi Ke’er’s apartment. My children are there.” Ye Sichen held his forehead and told Uncle Xiang.

Uncle Xiang and Ken looked at each other. Finally, they didn’t return to the manor.

A news was broadcasted on the car radio.

The news that Ye Sichen was acquitted was broadcasted everywhere. Ken thought Ye Sichen didn’t like it, so he tried to turn off the radio. However, he was stopped by Ye Sichen unexpectedly.

“Mr. Su, why did you withdraw the lawsuit?”

“Didn’t Ye Sichen hurt your daughter, Su Weiwei? If not, why was there such a record in her diary?”

“Was it because your family were threatened by Ye Sichen’s team?”

“No, it was because we had reconciled out of court.” Su Weiwei’s father’s words were broadcasted in the quiet car.

Ye Sichen’s face was livid and grim.

“Reconciled? Please tell us the details, Mr. Su.” The host asked in surprise.

“Yes, reconciled. Ye Sichen payed me the compensation. I thought that was acceptable, so I reconciled with him.”

“Can you tell us how much the compensation was?”

“That’s a secret, and I’m sure it’s a big number.”

“Tell me how much that is. Why do you still keep it from me until now?” Ye Sichen kept silent for a while, then he questioned Ken seriously.

He told them that he insisted on fighting against Su’s family through lawsuit and he wouldn’t pay them a penny for reconciliation. Now the whole world knew that his acquittal was due to money and he paid them to withdraw the lawsuit. Although this ridiculous lawsuit ended, no one would believe his innocence.

“Sir, I know nothing about the compensation. This is definitely unreal.” Ken was confused.

Uncle Xiang echoed, “Yes, sir. If we had planned to reconciliate with them, we would have informed you in advance.”

“Then who would do that?” Ye Sichen was more confused.

When they arrived at Mi Ke’er’s apartment, the three children ran to Ye Sichen and he held them into his arms.

Looking at Ye Sichen, Mi Ke’er felt relieved. However, there was a glimmer of worry flashed in her eyes.

Wuyou and Nianci wanted to ask why Xia Nuan didn’t come, but their words stopped on their lips when they saw Ye Sichen was gaunt and in a bad mood.

“Sir, I believe you have heard the news. Su Weiwei’s father said you were released by paying them to reconcile. He’s definitely talking nonsense and I won’t believe his words.”

She poured him a glass of water.

“I’m still not clear about this. I need to arrange someone to find it out.” He felt dejected.

“Sir, Madam Ye and Master Enchen are coming. They’re right outside the house.” Uncle Xiang came over and told him.
