Before they got in, Xia Nuan looked around but found no trace of Lacy. Then she asked, “Where is Mr. Lacy? Did he leave?”
Mi Ke’er told a lie, “Well, he left for something urgent. Just leave him alone.”
Xia Nuan didn’t ask anymore and started cooking food with Mi Ke’er.
“Dr. Mi Ke’er. Mr. Ye is coming.” The servant was happy to report to Mi Ke’er.
