On the day of leaving, Ye Sichen’s assistant, Ken called him that Ye Sichen wanted him to shoot a MV.
Lan Qing agreed, but he hoped that Ye Sichen could delay the shooting for two weeks.
Ye Sichen refused. He told Lan Qing that if he couldn’t start immediately, the cooperation would be canceled. Lan Qing had to meet him first.
“The theme of this MV is ‘life’. I hope to fulfill Su Weiwei’s wish. She wishes to be the heroine of my MV.” His expression was serious.
After the ceremony, he received a notice that Su Weiwei was critically ill. That was the reason why he suddenly wanted to work with Lan Qing for a MV.
Su Weiwei was the little girl who had a terminally ill. Her family had spent all the savings for her illness. After Ye Sichen learned it, he began to pay for her treatment. However, her illness was controlled but couldn’t cured. Then several years later, she still came to the end of her life.
Lan Qing thought for a moment and said, “I will leave to take pictures and bring them back for your review. How about that?”
Ye Sichen sighed, “Well, I will send someone to accompany you. However, you only have one week at most. I can wait for you, but Weiwei can’t.”
Lan Qing thought for a moment and agreed.
He went to Aoshi City with Xun Mochi, Ye Sichen’s personal dancer.
Lan Qing arrived in Aoshi City and contacted Xia Nuan. When he met Xia Nuan, Helen was with her and Xun Mochi was with him. In order to make some room for Xia Nuan and him, Lan Qing made an excuse.
“Mochi, please look around with Miss Helen. I have something to say to Xia Nuan.”
Xun Mochi took a look at Helen and didn’t move.
Helen supported her chin with her hands and stared at Lan Qing, “What kind of things that I can’t know?”
“It’s about fashion design. You don’t know it.” Lan Qing looked at Helen with displeasure.
“Who told you that? I know better.” Helen put a hand on Xia Nuan’s shoulder and kept close to her body. She just didn’t want to leave.
Lan Qing was annoyed and had to leave with Xun Mochi temporarily.
By the evening, Lan Qing wanted to meet Xia Nuan. However, he knew that Helen would definitely be with her, so he figured out another way.
He went to visit Zeng Guihua, and told her to call Xia Nuan back.
Zeng Guihua made a lie to Xia Nuan that she was ill and told Xia Nuan to send her to the hospital immediately.
Xia Nuan went home without hesitation.
But she finally realized it was Lan Qing’s trick.
“Director Lan, if you want to tell me anything, you can just call me. You don’t have to ask my mother to lie to me.” Xia Nuan poured a cup of tea for Lan Qing.
Lan Qing frowned helplessly, “I have no choice. As long as Helen is by your side, I can’t speak out…”
“What’s it?”
Xia Nuan asked.
“I come to Aoshi City this time to take pictures for Ye Sichen. He wants to shoot a MV to fulfill a girl’s wish. The girl is critically ill.” Lan Qing told her the story.
Xia Nuan was touched.
She knew that girl. Her name was Su Weiwei. Ye Sichen was always paying for her treatment.
“You also know that Helen is noisy everywhere. If she’s here, I can’t focus to take pictures. So, I don’t want her to be here.” Lan Qing said.
Xia Nuan was a little sad. She replied slowly, “You know you can take pictures by yourself.”
“I’d like to. However, I need you to help me as a guide because it’s my first time in Aoshi City.” Lan Qing said euphemistically.
Xia Nuan thought of Su Weiwei and promised Lan Qing.
Zeng Guihua saw Lan Qing, the great director, come to Xia Nuan. She was very delighted and tried her best to please him.
When Lan Qing went to the bathroom, Zeng Guihua whispered to Xia Nuan, “He’s an internationally renowned director. If you marry him, that will probably be very helpful to your career.”

After a day’s sightseeing, Lan Qing took Xia Nuan to have dinner. He said that he wanted to relax, so he took Xia Nuan into a bar.
Xia Nuan didn’t want to get in. However, when she heard Ye Sichen’s song played in it, her steps stopped like she couldn’t move anymore. Then she was pulled into the bar by Lan Qing.
