Chapter 96 A vampire (1/2)

Sitting next to the full-length mirror, Ye Sichen applied the makeup on his face calmly. More makeups were needed to cover the scars on his face and body.

“Sir, why don’t we ask Aka for help? We can sign a Confidentiality Agreement with her.” Seeing Ye Sichen applying some makeups to the scars on his face tremblingly, Ken advised him gently.

“I can’t take off my clothes and ask others to apply cosmetics on me. That’s not a long-term solution.” Ye Sichen refused him politely.

Ye Sichen’s face was much paler than before. Fortunately, the scars on his face were basically covered, and the burned parts were covered well. He put on his sunglasses and a mask again. Then he walked out of the ICU.

Outside, Madam Ye, Luo Dai’er and Ye Ranni walked towards him as he came out.

“Sichen, tell me the truth. Are you seriously ill? Why do you look so weak?” Walking forward him, Madam Ye held Ye Sichen’s hand and asked him with concern.

Ye Ranni looked at Ye Sichen and felt very confused, “Sichen, are you really dehydrated only because of the rehearsals? Do you know what the public rumors said? They said you are dead! Don’t frighten us.”

“I’m fine. I’m just dehydrated indeed.” Ye Sichen didn’t want to talk about his burns. He wasn’t worried if he would be abandoned by the world for his disfigurement, but Ye’s family would be involved in a family dispute over his burns, and he didn’t want to see the scene. At least, he didn’t want to see it while his mother was still alive.

The death of his father had been a deep blow to him, so he didn’t want it to happen again.

Looking at Ye Sichen, Luo Dai’er sneered silently and said nothing.

Madam Ye still wasn’t sure about his health. She had a feeling that something was wrong, “Then take off your mask and show me.”

She even suspected that the real Ye Sichen had already dead, and the man in front of her was just a substitute sent by the music company for publicity.

Ye Sichen was blank for a few seconds and then took off the mask slowly.

It was definitely Ye Sichen. But his skin was much paler and unhealthier than before.

Probably it was really the dehydration that caused his body to be weak.

Madam Ye was a little relieved, “You’d better rest more and try to minimize the times of concert. What’s more, Dai’er, you’d better stay here to take care of Sichen. Understand?”

Luo Dai’er snickered, “I’d love to, but he’s not willing at all.”

“I’m going to rehearsal.” Ye Sichen didn’t refuse her and walked through Luo Dai’er to leave Mi Ke’er’s house.

Madam Ye gave Luo Dai’er a hint. The latter understood her intention and left with Ye Sichen.

Looking at Luo Dai’er’s back, Madam Ye and Ye Ranni both had their own ideas.

“Alas! I only hope that Sichen and Luo Dai’er can be as good as ever.”

“Mom. Actually, their divorce would be a relief because there is no affection between them.” Ye Ranni was contemplative.

Madam Ye gave Ye Ranni a ferocious stare, “The affection can be nurtured, and it’s easy for a man and woman to nurture their personal affections. Moreover, once they divorce, our family will suffer a great loss.”

Ye Ranni was a little reluctant to respond Madam Ye. Then she asked her mother as if she thought of something, “Mom, is there anything happened between Xia Nuan and Enchen? Because she works in Modu City recently, and Enchen helped her with her job.”

“So what? Enchen is just playing with her. He will never marry her. After all, she is now the nominal daughter of your dead uncle. Enchen can’t be so absurd to marry his cousin.” Madam Ye sneered confidently.

Ye Ranni nodded, “Mom, you are right. What you said is quite insightful.”

After the conversation, they went to the loft next to Mi Ke’er’s house to rest.

Mi Ke’er heard the conversation between them in the dark and couldn’t help but frown.

How did Xia Nuan and Ye Enchen get in touch with each other?

Were Ye Sichen’s burns related to Xia Nuan?

However, Ye Sichen had been concealing the incident. Therefore, no one knew the reason of his burns.

Mi Ke’er’s phone rang suddenly when she was wondering.

She unlocked it and found a message sent by Lacy.

There was a short line of words on the phone, “Leave the divorce issue aside.”

Mi Ke’er was a little unpleasant. She called Lacy after seeing the words. Lacy picked up the phone. There were dynamic music rhythms and the sound that Lacy played his guitar.

“Lacy, are you a terminal procrastinator or something? How could you delay our divorce day after day? Is it interesting?” Mi Ke’er didn’t care if he was at work or in rehearsing, but shouted at him on the phone.

Lacy was blank in his mind for her blame and said a few seconds later, “I also want to divorce you as soon as possible, but my mother now has angina and can’t be stimulated. So, wait till she is better. Okay?”

“No way! I’ve been tolerated by you for the past few months. And I have to divorce you tomorrow. And tomorrow is settled!”

Mi Ke’er hung up the phone before Lacy said anything.

She must divorce Lacy. She loved Ye Sichen, and wanted to be with him for good. Seeing Ye Sichen was injured, she was in agony.

Luo Dai’er got on Ye Sichen’s car, but he didn’t refuse her.

“Haven’t you signed the Divorce Agreement yet? Hurry up. It won’t be good if I urge you to do that. Besides, I think you don’t want to either go to jail or allow things I said before to happen.” Ye Sichen said slowly.

Luo Dai’er took her phone and waved it in front of Ye Sichen, “Ye, I wonder if you still care about Luo Lan?”
