Chapter 7 - The Space Art (1/2)

“And, what you just did was amazing! How did you manage to make those twinkling stars jump out from your fingers? Is that magical art? Are you able to turn stone into gold?”

Before King of the Netherworld could answer anything, the boy had already asked a bunch of questions without a break. However, if observing carefully, it was easy to find that the boy’s eyes had been fixed on the silver gem on the king’s forehead as if they were glued to the gem.

“You want to learn magical arts?” King of the Netherworld asked again with aloofness in his eyes.

“Yes, yes. Better be the kind which could turn stone into gold. Ah, it’ll be better if you can teach me how to move subject from a distance!” The boy said smilingly with his two eyes curved like the bright crescent moon and his white teeth glistening.

“You don’t have to learn the low-level arts like those. I can teach you how to break the space.”

The king mentioned that lightly as if it was merely a piece of cake while staring at the young boy seriously.

“Break the space?” The boy was confused, “What’s that for?”

“That art can make you wander through all the spaces in the Three Worlds. If you can control the space, even people who have stronger spiritual power than you would never be able to block your retreat.” King of the Netherworld explained.

What he meant was that the boy would be able to escape from any kind of danger by learning that art. After all, the number of the people in the Three Worlds who could employ the high-level art like Space Art was less than ten.

“So it’s better than moving subject from a distance?” The boy didn’t know how powerful the Space Art was, so he had to compare it with other arts.

After all, he had only been a little scholar before he died.
