“How did he do it? Podell obtained a silver evaluation by himself and he was the only one who got it, but Starfire got a Platinum Medal.” John turned to the blonde chick, “Aidella, do you think this is possible?”

“That is out of the question. It took Podell nineteen minutes to get a silver evaluation whereas this Starfire dude only took three minutes and forty seconds, and he even got a perfect Platinum Medal. This is simply impossible,” said Miller, the black Warrior.

Aidella let out a sigh, it was still possible for their team to break the team record. As for individual record, it was utterly impossible.

“Other than BroadSky, we don’t know anything about the other team members. The data doesn’t reveal their stats and description, but I believe that they have gotten the Gold Medal because of Starfire.”

Aidella did not go on, but everyone understood what she meant.

“Seems like we have to reorganize our strategy and give in our best to prepare for The Den of Evil. Also, we have to prepare for the Carnival Tournament. Not only do we have to get first place in our district, we have to get first in the world too. We have to go all out and not underestimate other players no more,” said Aidella in a serious manner.

“Yes.” Other team members felt as though they had received infinite strength just by looking into Aidella’s beautiful eyes that were filled with determination.

It was not just the No.1 guild in the West. Li Yao’s achievement had disrupted everyone’s plans, causing guilds all around the world to revise their fighting strategies.

“Brother, how should I compliment you?” BroadSky looked at Li Yao and said.

“It’s just a normal stage.” Li Yao’s expression did not waver in the slightest.

He had participated in numerous challenge stages for the past ten years. At later stages, the monster bosses would become insanely difficult to defeat. To Li Yao, the first stage was just a basic lesson. It was not the slightest bit difficult for him, nor did he feel any glory for getting Platinum Medal.

If the first stage was considered difficult to him, then his rebirth meant nothing.

After the squad had come out of the stage, Li Yao went back for the one-star Platinum Medal. Now that he was facing the boss alone, the boss’s health was few times lower than before. With the help of Arrow Towers, Explosive Sheep and Spike Traps, his damage output was maximized. Since the boss was not able to lay a scratch on Li Yao during the chaotic four-player mode, solo mode was way easier for Li Yao to make decisions. He obtained the Platinum Medal without breaking a sweat.

“Brother, did you record the fight?” asked BroadSky.

In World of Ancient Gods, players were able to set rules for video recording upon entering a stage. As the team captain, Li Yao set the rules that only he could record videos. Of course, if there were any reporters or journalists amongst them, they too could record the video.

“Yep, I did.” Li Yao shook his head, “Sorry to say this but I have another use for it. If you don’t mind, you can watch this clip at the official webpage.”

“Alright, since you have your own plans, I wouldn’t ask for much.” BroadSky was not disappointed. “This time you carried me in this stage, seems like I took advantage of it. I’m not going to make a fuss about the thank yous, call me if something’s up.”

“No problem, I will contact you.” Li Yao thought of the Poisonous Dart Frog’s materials in his backpack. “I still have a bunch of Poisonous Dart Frog’s materials. Do you want it?”

“Of course I do, send it my way through mailbox. I’ll pay you a reasonable price that will not disappoint you. These are some good stuff, especially the fangs that are only obtainable through critical hits.”

“Yep, okay.”

After Li Yao had organized the materials with BroadSky’s help, he mailed them to him. This saved him a ton of time from selling it at the trade market.

Quarter of an hour later, twenty gold coins were mailed to him. Apparently, the price of the materials had dropped. He had only earned twenty gold coins for selling so much Poisonous Dart Frog’s materials. Even so, it was normal since the materials did not require critical hits to obtain, but the frog’s level was high. Therefore, he still received twenty gold coins.

Li Yao, who was so deep-rooted in engineering, did not know that his achievement had stirred up a storm around the world. This time, players from all around the world remembered his name, Starfire.

“The first player to get a Platinum rating, I might be able to get an invitation.” Li Yao did not get the Platinum Medal for the sake of limelight, he did it so he would be qualified to receive the invitation for the annual Carnival Tournament.

The invitation was sent out by the administrators to top professional players from guilds or clubs. It would be not possible for Li Yao to enter either way. With a Platinum Medal, he would be qualified for it. In his previous life, a pro player received the invitation after he had gotten a Gold Medal. He believed that with his Platinum Medal, the invitation was well within his grasp.

The carnival would be held within each country, and every district would have their very own carnival independantly. China would hold the event on behalf of Asia and the East Pacific. Smaller countries that were under the control of China such as Korea, Japan, India, Vietnam and other sub-regional countries would be attending this event as well.

These districts treated this carnival very seriously. Before the carnival, each district would have their own regional competitions for players to acquire the eligibility to participate in the carnival’s tournament.

On that day, every television channel and internet sites would only be showing the carnival live. China’s famous singers and actors would provide free entertainment for the show to receive huge publicity.

Entertainers on the event became sensational news on the next day. Now that Li Yao was the only player with a Platinum Medal, he deserved a show segment of his own such as challenging powerful monsters. This would be a good stepping-stone for Li Yao and he would definitely not miss out on it.

He thought about all this while he was creating more items.

He promised to bring AdorkableTong to Level 5. Hence, he required more Explosive Sheep.

Li Yao turned off all private messages and friend requests from strangers. He uploaded their Gold Medal clip onto the internet.

He had done some facial blurring on their faces in the video so they looked blurred out. Then, he concentrated on making the engineering items at the work station.

Soon after the clip was uploaded, it went viral. Although the official web for World of Ancient Gods was recently opened and had been running for less than a week, there were nearly half a billion people already in the game.

According to Li Yao’s past life experiences, during the tenth day or so since the opening, there were an average of over one hundred million players that had entered the game.

The official webpage was thriving. The game had dethroned all of the other games in such a short period of time.

Some of the most famous commentators and anchors of other games were restricted by the limitations in their contracts, but most of them had devoted themselves to this unprecedented game.

Take China’s official gaming website as an example, the videos ranked top on the list were either videos by China’s top commentator or video gameplays by top professional players from major guilds or clubs.
