“Jian Rushi?”

Just then, Mr. Helian’s voice rang in Jian Rushi’s ears. Helian Ze, who happened to have an appointment here, didn’t expected that he would meet his girlfriend, Jian Rushi.

Mr. Helian was a nobleman with an admirable temperament.

The moment he appeared in the hall he attracted the eyes of all people, especially the women present. They all kept their eyes fixed on him.

“Why are you here?” asked Helian Ze.

“I’m here for the meeting of the old classmates.” She remembered that she had reported it to him.

Mr. Helian was very busy recently. He planned to take a vacation after finishing all his work so that he could accompany his cute girlfriend. He reached out and rubbed Jian Rushi’s delicate cheek with his slender finger and said causally, “I didn’t expect you to have a gathering here. The hall is not good enough. Rushi, if you had told me the venue in advance, I could have arranged a better place for you.”

Jian Rushi thought carefully for a moment before she recalled that Mr. Helian had already bought this hotel.

She spread her hands and said helplessly, “I forgot that this hotel is yours.”

Mr. Helian said with emphasis, “It’s ours.”

When they two were talking, other people began to discuss animatedly. At this point, the women, who had looked down upon Jian Rushi just now, all looked with envy at her.

At the sight of Mr. Helian, strong feelings of envy welled up in Lin Xue, and her eyes slightly reddened. “I never expected you to marry into the purple.” In the eyes of Lin Xue, Jian Rushi didn’t look like a noble lady.

Jian Rushi grinned and said in a forgiving tone, “It doesn’t matter. Every dog has its day. Every man may have his eyes overshadowed.”

Helian Ze couldn’t help but curve his lips into a faint smile. “I’ll come to pick you up later.” Then he bent down and planted a kiss on her forehead.

Shortly after Mr. Helian left the hall, the hotel manager came and invited Jian Rushi and her old classmates to a plush banquet hall on the 18th floor. Then he had waiters serve them new dishes and told them that all their consumption today was free of charge.

Hearing this, everyone gathered around Jian Rushi, chatted to her and managed to curry favour with her.
