Chapter 418 - Second Offensive I (1/2)
Three days have passed and the Second Offensive operation has finally begun…
Right now, the main forces of Zairus, Maja, and Virgan have arrived in an abandoned town, now turned into their headquarters, to fight the remaining aliens near the mines at Stella Region.
The army of Zairus is composed of 15,000 Magicians… They are at the level of Combat Mage, Battle Mage, Adept Mage, and a few Sages.
About a thousand of them were magicians at Engineer's Path… They are the Magic Engineers and Arcane Artificers that would act as support of the front line magicians…
Aside from that, they have 1 Transatmospheric Battleship, 50 Airsh.i.p.s, 300 Steel Knights, and 20 Iron Knights on their side.
This is already the combined forces of all the powerful clans and organizations in Zairus.
Of course, Wallace's forces are not included in this count.
”Only fifteen thousand, huh… We're still short.”
”It doesn't matter… We still have to let the others defend our borders and our key cities… This should be enough.”
Aaron and Troy were both inside the Blaze Battleship observing the situation below. They then looked at the other countries' forces who have just arrived in their land.
The Republic of Maja brought 20 Airsh.i.p.s filled with 1,000 Battle Mages and 100 Adepts.
Their numbers are small but their automatons about 8,000 in number… As expected of the country that put most of their budget to Automaton Factories, they seem to be capable of making 200 to 300 of them per day!
Of course, each of these Automatons was expensive, so they also didn't want them to be destroyed as much as possible in this war.
”Hmmm… Their general is only at the level of Sage… It seems that these forces they've sent were actually expendables.”
Troy muttered after seeing the forces from Maja. If they are truly valuing these magicians and automatons, they should've at least brought one of their Grand Sages or Grand Arcanists…
This way, they would be able to have a chance to refuse in case they were ordered to do some life-threatening actions.
Anyway, it's not his position to tell them that so he just let them be…
Finally, the forces from the other neighboring country, Virgan, were actually quite strong…
They didn't bring a single airship and only send 3,000 Battle Mages, 500 Adepts Mages, 5 Sages, and a single Grand Sage.
However, what's impressive with these magicians are their Mana Artifacts…All of them are at the highest grade possible. Troy even heard that they can perform massive combination attacks that require 100 Magician's Mana in a single attack.
This is something that their army is lacking… Most of their forces' mana spells were for a single target or for a single user.
They do not have Mana Spells that can be used by a group of magicians to amplify its powers…
Except to the clans and organizations who were planning to reveal their Forbidden Mana Spells, Forbidden Mana Artifacts, and Forbidden Secret Arts today…
”It looks like we can now begin… Have you seen Karfu?”
Troy asked after seeing that everything is ready.
”Yes… His team should be heading towards their assigned task… I'm not exactly sure if that Mind Stone is effective but we'll see…” Aaron muttered as left the room.
