He thought that they will only do this in some kind of emergency or dangerous situation but they have appeared in front of him while it is already opened!

Then, he saw the five doing some hand gestures or perhaps a ritual to summon the death energy within their Corpse Furnace…

Then, twelve black tentacles made of the Death Energy came rushing at him… He can feel the corrosive energy that it has and also the mysterious sensation of death reaching out for him…

He couldn't properly explain the aura of Death Energy but it does have a weird scent that seems to have come from the grave.

Boom! Boom!

The tentacles clashed at his Sentient Mana.

Though he can cast multiple mana spells to try and destroy it… He felt that using his physical qualities and Void Phase would be faster.

He used his fist covered with his concentrated Mana to destroy the Furnace on his left.

His reappearance using the Void Phase surprised the aliens. However, Wallace still underestimated the third eye of one of the Major Races in the Universe.

They are actually terrifying!

Though the physical body and the consciousness of the Khrusams were unable to follow Wallace's movement, their third eye seems to have a life of its own as it stared at the direction where Wallace would reappear using his Void Phase!

It is almost like it's predicting his movement or perhaps, it could see him pass through the Void with that eyes!

Then, as he was about to destroy the Furnace… A whirlpool made of Death Energy materialized at the spot of the Furnace where his fist is about to strike.

He decided to back away for now… Of course, he didn't stop his movements since the tentacles would try to catch him…

'Tsk… What's with that third eye? It can follow my movement. I thought it's only used to increase their control with the Death Energy?!'

This race was too mysterious. Perhaps, he had to reconsider his plans for now.

'Hmm… Let's see.' Wallace looked at the Khrusams as he suddenly had an idea.

'If we don't know anything from you. I guess we should just study you for a bit.' The young man thought as he rushed towards one of the Khrusams.

Their Death Energy is indeed too mysterious. After all, this alien race has kept their secret too tightly… Their Corpse Furnace is a complete mystery and their third eye is like a miracle…

Even the Galactic Federation doesn't have any information about it.

Nevertheless, this might be a chance for Wallace to learn about these aliens.

Miya looked at Avalon curiously as she waited for the A.I.'s reply…

[ Miss Chamber is currently investigating the Death Energy that the Aliens are using. ]

”Eh? The Death Energy? I read that it's the power of the Khrusams, right?” She asked in confusion.

[ That's correct. Due to multiple reports that we've received, we are trying to confirm whether the Death Energy has similarities with the Soul Arts of this planet. ]

”Really?! That would be amazing! Wait, I mean that would groundbreaking! Perhaps, those who practice the Soul Arts can finally help to fight in the war.”

[ Well, not exactly. But it would benefit us if we know how their power works. ]

”Yes… Of course. However, it would be difficult to study their Death Energy… unless you manage to store it and put it in a bottle or something?” Miya asked since before they could study the energy, they should have a sample of it.

If there's none, there's no way they could progress on the study…

At the moment, she's thinking that Avalon collected some samples by taking the magicians, mech knights, or perhaps other objects that have been affected by the mysterious energy.

[ No. Just a minute ago, Wallace captured a living member of the Khrusam race and bounded it with him… Aside from that, he also picked up twelve dead Khrusams as he was escaping… ]
