Wallace made arrangements with Ace and Avalon to take care of this base while he will accompany Yumi's group at the northern continent.
As he was planning to let Yumi know, a familiar sound came in. It was the notification from the Pathfinder...

Wallace thought for a while as he remembers the map of the northern continent given to him before.
He immediately realized what the Pathfinder wanted and asked Avalon to connect him with Veda. He wanted to make some things clear.

Veda quickly took over the floating metal ball's speaker and light.
”Do you have information about the 6th Gen Mana Artifacts?”
[ The Spirit Forging Magic? ]
”Yes... So its really the 6th Gen, huh... Were all countries aware of it?”

This A.I. was really something. If Wallace was not aware that Veda was an A.I. created for medical purposes, he would never realize that it was not a real person.

Yumi was satisfied that he learned some things about the northern continent. She can brag about it once she found an opportunity. She even received an incomplete map of the place. This would lessen their troubles in finding her cousin's location.
”Grandma Thea, I'll leave everything else to you... You're the only person I know that I can entrust these notes without any worry.”
”Sigh~ I'm old already... Shouldn't you be handling that?”
