130 Battle Royale Part 3 (1/2)
It didn't take long before the other two Helios reached the boulders field.
One of them even detected Wallace's Red-Eyed War Beast but chose to ignore it. Either because of it's command to join with the other Helioses or it just disdained fighting someone who can't even get out of the swamp.
”Whoa! It really ignored Wallace's Red-Eyed War Beast. It seems that it really prioritizes it's mission to unite with other Helioses.” Nina said as she realized that the three automatons of their Montego's team was trying to converge in one side.
”Hmm.. Impressive. The three automatons were probably with several program or magic structure capable of detecting each other. Apparently, due to the uniqueness of this battlefield, normal communication method would actually be hampered by the Mana Field surrounding it.” Schneizel explained which made the audience admire these participants. It means that the participants of Montego anticipated or put in consideration this type of issue and made a communication method that would bypass this hurdle.
While the audience admired the Montego's team's readiness in all situations, the participants in Maja cursed within their heart. They also have a way to supposedly communicate with their teammate's automaton and they actually felt weird upon seeing that their automatons weren't finding a way to gather themselves. Now that it was explained by Schneizel, they could only grit their teeth and hope for the best.
'To think they have planned this deep. Even my Fabled Ambush couldn't fight three automatons at the same time. What a bad luck.' Khamir said as he resigned to his fate.
On the other hand, Wallace was calmly observing the battlefield. His automaton was probably seen as weak opponent as well and the danger level was most likely calculated as very low so it was ignored.
Half of the previous Turtleback Wolf was already covered by muds looking like a muddy stone that was in the midst of this dark and murky swamp so it couldn't easily be detected by other automatons that was passing by. It was due to the War Beast's struggle that muds was constantly slopping everywhere.
Up until now, half of the War Beast's leg was still deep within the swamp and once this automaton detected the Helios hurrying over to the other side of the field, it stopped it's movement and waited for the opponents further action. It couldnt just fire the laser without making sure it would hit the enemy.
The War Beast may look like a good target practice for the enemies, but it has to make sure that it would not give them a chance to be locked on by it's laser cannon.
After a couple of seconds of scanning and detecting that War Beast posed no threat at the moment, the Helios left and fought together with it's other copies against Fabled Ambush.
Amazingly, the Fabled Ambush wouldn't fall down without a fight. It managed to use the boulder terrain to it's advantage to drag the fight. Although it sustained a lot of damage already, it was still struggling looking like it was waiting for reinforcements coming from it's teammates.

Jun Richardson had been keeping an eye on his Sword Slave, it is a half human and half praying mantis that has eight Mana Blades. The dark blue eyes it has was a special Mana Artifact he made that was called Mystic Eyes.
Aside from his core Magic Structure, this Mystic Eyes helps the automaton have a better sense of it's surroundings. In this way, the Sword Slave could better utilize it's eight Mana Blades. After all, having a lot of weapons doesn't necessarily mean that it would have higher power. It still heavily depends whether it would actually hit the enemies.
”Oh, this Sword Slave is using his advantage in this mini forest. Well, the nearest automaton was supposedly Silva's Helios but it ran away and went to the boulders field.”
”Will it just wait there in the mini forest until a wandering automaton pass by?”
”Don't worry about that. As everyone knew, the battle would only last for 30 minutes. But aside from that, if there was only 20 minutes left, there would be some changes on the battlefield.” Shneizel explained to Nina and to every viewers of the fight. He didn't explained further as only 3 minutes had passed, so a lot of things would still happen on this event.
”I see. That makes sense then.” Nina replied as if she wasn't aware of it.
”Hold on... Look at Alina's automaton, it tried to follow the Helios that passed over her range of detection. It also went to the boulder field! Now there's 5 automatons in the field, it's about to get messy in this part of the battlefield.”
The newly arrived Winged Shadow Serpent by Alina from Virgan caught Schneizel's attention and Khamir smiled upon seeing this.

Jun Richardson turned his eyes at the match happening near the grassland, it was an automaton from Virgan and Maja.
He recalled their information as he believed that during this fight, his Sword Slave would surely detect it and most likely, his automaton would decide to benefit from this battle.
Yes, it will most likely wait for the winner before joining in. It is one of his program in his automaton.
