96 The Truth Part 3 (1/2)
Although it hasn't been a month since Chester started to study the Cryptic Link Serum, he already made a huge breakthrough.
”Haha! You're excellent as always! Even the people from the Congress had a hard time deciphering the serum but here you are, you've managed to do something they're unable to.” An unusual figure visited the laboratory of the head of Mage Doctor in Medicine Department of the Ministry.
”Haaa... It's not that easy you know.”
Chester recognized the voice without turning his head as he said humbly to this powerful magician he respected deep in his heart. But he was addressing him informally since the former had requested to do so telling that they probably hold the same level of authority within the Ministry.
”Honestly, there's still an unknown element included within the formula. Until I've identified that element, I can't really say that I've successfully uncovered the secret's of this serum.” Chester explained while he was seated and observing the screen showing structure of the serum.
”I understand that, but with this, you don't have to strain yourself. We can easily use the Congress's resources to deal with it.” Hayden Fraser encouraged Chester as he deeply valued Chester's ability for the Ministry and kinda liked his personality since they both have the same goal.
The unknown element was also alien to him. But this discovery was enough result for the Congress as even getting the other components of the serum made it difficult for them.
Discovering the new element should be handled by other experts in the field since Chester doesn't really have an obligation for this and wasn't his forte.
”That's right. I should take some rest. Identifying the truth with this new element that could trigger improvement on magicians with low Mana affinity could not be easily done.” Chester said in his tired voice.
'Just where did the Z-Company acquired such valuable material.' The two of them thought at the same time.

After Wallace saw the man floating just above him. He couldn't help but feel nervous on the situation. The opponent he was dealing was either too strong or too weak like the guard he had recently taken out.
Luckily, the man didn't immediately attacked and injured him but instead chose to incapacitate him by being pressured of the invisible Mana. Due to this, his Mana-Enhanced armor was able to adjust after bearing the pressure for 10 seconds.
During this time, the middle-aged man had already gotten closer to Wallace. He walks indifferently as he approached step by step.
'Hey, Please establish the connection. Hurry up!' Wallace said to Pathfinder.

'That's too long! How can I survive here?' Wallace said in his mind.
”Hey, I asked you a question. Are you mute?” The man spoke with a hint of threat as he noticed the armored being in front him who was not answering his question even after pressurring it to the point of kneeling on the ground.
Wallace needed to buy more time so he could only try.
”What's inside this structure?” A suppressed voice within the armor came out as Wallace tried to speak even with the pressure.
”Oh~ So you can speak. Anyway, you will never know what's inside there.” The man stopped approaching Wallace after reaching 10 steps away from him.
'So you're also being careful?' Wallace anayzed the situation. He noticed that the man didn't get near him and kept his distance as Wallace kept his half kneeling posture. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please clickfor visiting.
”Well, you're probably another one of those spies. Which country sent you?” The man said as he extended his hands and pointed on Wallace.
”I'm not spy. This is a misunderstanding.” Wallace said as his mind keeps thinking on what to say before he continued.
”I'm just testing this new armor tech I'm wearing and was lost here after detecting something unusual. You can ignore me as I'll leave this place in a while.”
”Really? Then that's even more dangerous. Whatever country made your suit must be exterminated.”
The man said as he frowned at the capabilities of the armor on detecting the uniqueness of this island if ever Wallace was saying the truth. Of course, he'd never completely believe him until he tortured him for the answers. He snapped his fingers as dancing flame approached Wallace as it tried consuming the latter.
But as soon as it reached closer to Wallace's armor, the flame dissipated as if the spell was too weak and couldn't reach him.
”So your Magic Jammer seems to be in a different level, huh.”
”That's right. I must thank the magic engineer who made this.” Wallace said to lighten up his mood.
A few more seconds was left so he had to either engaged in conversation or even fight him.
”How about this?”
