Chapter 4 - Making her Really Sick (1/2)

“Go to another hospital? This is the best one in this city. Where else do you want me to go?” the middle-aged man shouted.

“Go to the capital, where the medicine level is the highest in our country.” Senior Long wiped his hands, got up and was about to leave.

He had never seen such illness before—clearly not sick at all, but the patient just couldn’t wake up.

However, right at the moment he turned away, came a sneer behind him, “Well, well, the chief doctor is just so so.”

Senior Long turned around angrily, only to see Lin Qi looking him up and down with a contemptuous look, which made his cheeks burn.

“You are merely a security guard, you’d better mind your own business. Otherwise, I’ll let Director Jiang fire you.” there was a flicker of discomfort in Long’s eyes.

“What a knack for practicing fraud you have, just like your nephew, another good-for-nothing!” Lin Qi reviled.

“What did you say?” Having doctored for so many years, Senior Long had never been scolded by an inexperienced young lad like this, so Senior Long bawled, shaking with anger, “very good, if you can cure Miss Su, I’ll leave here right away!”

“It doesn’t matter to me whether you leave or not, but I can show you how Miss Su is going to wake up.” Lin Qi glanced at the middle-aged man and motioned him to hurry up.

The man gritted his teeth and went out to look for the cat and milk.

Under such circumstances, if Senior Long himself had no way out, he had to clutch at straws.

“A cat and milk can cure disease? It’s really ridiculous to slip!” Senior Long scorned instantly.

Liu Jiang-wei echoed him, “Senior Long is right. If he could cure the disease, I would streak in the hospital for three laps.”

“Well. Soon you will find that you are not qualified to be doctors at all.”

Saying this, Lin Qi glanced at Su Ming-yue lying in bed.

She was really the Young Missy of the Su family. Perfect by nature, her skin was as smooth as white jade; the closed eyes were lined with thick long black lashes. The simple but elegant dress outlined the beautiful curve of her upper body; her uncovering white and tender shanks inspired a lot of imagination.

But it was the cookie crumbs on her fingers that revealed something.

“Miss Su, you cannot get adequate nutrition by sneaking biscuits. Go to have something delicious after you wake up.” Lin Qi smiled. Su certainly had moved her finger.

After a while, the middle-aged man ran in, sweating, “Cat and milk, both are found.”

Lin Qi nodded, then he walked to Su Ming-yue, held her shank, and reached out to take her shoes off gently.

“What are you doing?” the middle-aged man asked, and his jaw dropped in amazement.

“Curing her. Don’t worry about it. Just believe in me.” Lin Qi said seriously.

“In my opinion, he clearly just wants to take advantage of Miss Su.” Liu Jiang-wei said with jealousy. This Missy Su was really a beauty. It would be worthy of his life if he could approach her.

Lin Qi turned a deaf ear to him. He took off Miss Su’s shoes to expose her delicate and small white feet, which made him unable to tear himself away from them. He was absent-minded for a moment.

Lin Qi took a deep breath and got the milk to pour it down on Su Ming-yue’s feet. Then he put the cat at her feet. The cat smelled the milk, so it stuck out its tongue and kept on lapping the milk from Miss Su’s feet.

Seeing this, Senior Long and Liu Jiang-wei showed their disdain of Lin Qi. They thought the brat had some tricks. So that’s what it was?

However, they both felt stunned at the next moment, for they seemed unable to believe what was happening in front of them.

With a ripple of silvery laughter, Su Ming-yue not only woke up immediately, but also hurriedly covered her feet, giggling and trembling all over, “Hehehe…, tee hee…, oh no! I can’t keep on feigning any more, it’s too itchy!”

What happened?

The middle-aged man was somewhat confused. So his miss really woke up in this way?

But upon hearing what Su Ming-yue said, he immediately became aware of the situation. Actually she wasn’t really sick, and she was just malingering.
