This was the pure love Yun Cang craved for and wanted to guard for his life, but when he really fell into it, he realized that it was not a good thing.

He put his hand on his chest subconsciously. He didn’t know which was more painful, the wound, or his heart.

Yunhai hugged Hua Qinxin tightly. He knew their relationship was precious. He was so desperate to get her all to himself, but he couldn’t. He had a greater cause to fulfill.

“All right. You shouldn’t stay here too long. Go back.” Ultimately, Yunhai let her go.

Hua Qingxin also realized that she shouldn’t have done this, so she kept a distance with Yunhai and wept her tears, “I have to tell you something.”

“What?”

Hua Qingxin alerted him seriously, “If the emperor asks you to go to that fawn-hunting place, don’t go.”

Yunhai was a clever man, so he soon understood, “It seems that he has suspected me.”

Hua Qingxin smiled bitterly. These two brothers both wanted to kill each other. If there was no third person setting them up, then it was definitely the other’s plot.

“He will set you up there. The whole thing should stop after he got wounded, so just don’t go.” Hua Qingxin rubbed her thin fingers and said with lowered head.

“Stop after he got wounded?” They heard a loud voice coming from the dark.

Yunhai and Hua Qingxin were shocked. They turned towards the direction of that voice and saw Yun Cang walking towards them under the moonlight, followed by Wei Jun, the commander of imperial guards.

Yun Cang approached and stood there, facing them. He smiled to Hua Qingxin bitterly, “It seems that the one wounded can only be me, not him.”

“You Majesty…” Hua Qingxin gasped. Her fine face was as white and pale as the moonlight.

Yunhai suddenly realized something and gave Hua Qingxin a slap. He said furiously, “You betrayed me!”

“No, I didn’t…” Hua Qingxin never thought about betraying him, instead, she just wanted to save him, “Your Highness, this is a plot, you have to believe me.”

“Bitch, so this is your fallback plan?” Yunhai was convinced that she sold him out.

But that was not true. Hua Qingxin risked losing everything to come here, so she never thought about any fallback plan.

However, in current situation, she didn’t have room to explain.

She couldn’t explain to Yunhai, nor to Yun Cang.
