Her heart fluttered a tiny bit.

What was this? Why was he acting so different? It wasn't as if she was against Lucas's change in character but she was definitely surprised. Maybe something really did happen when they were drinking! That's the only solution she could come up with since it aligned with his change of character.

After all, the past Lucas would never do this. Ever.

”Whatever,” she said while fixing her hair.

Eunha tried not to hide her nervousness, but it was showing through her eyes. At the moment, her brain was overflowing with emotions. It was not good to continue with this topic, especially since she was an open book.

Her two friends would be able to read her face quickly.

Eunha tried to change the conversation as quickly as possible. And what better topic was there than Yoona and Minhyun?

”Anyways,” the short-haired girl said. She glanced over at Yoona. ”Did you shower? You smell different and your hair looks a bit damp.”

Good topic change. Eunha was proud of herself.

Yoona let out an awkward smile. Of course they would catch on. She was hoping that they wouldn't notice. ”Yeah. Minhyun has his own apartment in his office.”

”Oh that's cool! So a bedroom, shower, and everything I'm a.s.suming.”

”Yup!” Yoona said while popping the 'p'. ”His CEO perks.”

There was a pause and Eunha furrowed her eyebrows. ”Wait a minute… Why did you use the shower…”

Then she let out a gasp. ”You naughty girl!”

”Hey!” Yoona said with a pout. She looked around, making sure that n.o.body was overhearing. ”It's not my fault that he's irresistible.”

Lucas glanced at the two girls in distaste. Were they really talking about this here? ”Oh G.o.d,” Lucas said while rolling his eyes.”Save this conversation for somewhere private please. I don't want to hear about this.”

Pleasantly surprised by how unbothered he was, Eunha let out a beaming smile. ”Yeah okay. Yoona, we shall talk about this in great detail… Later.”

”Deal,” Yoona said. Then she sent Eunha a wink, signaling that she wanted details as well about Eunha's lunch date.

Lucas looked up at them before shaking his head. ”I can never understand girls… Why do you even go into detail talking about your s.e.xual exploits.”

Eunha shrugged. ”It's interesting!”

He leaned in and stared into her eyes. ”Instead of focusing on other people's love lives, focus on your own.”

After his bold statement, he focused back on his work.

Eunha blinked. Nodded. And made eye-contact with Yoona.

They tried to converse without speaking. Eunha signalled with her eyes to ask Yoona if Lucas was acting out of character.

And Yoona nodded in agreement.

Okay, so she wasn't going crazy... Good to know.
