He was hurt.

Of course, Lucas knew that Yoona and Minhyun were meant to be. The guy was ready to give down everything for her. Even when they first met Minhyun, there was no doubt that the CEO would be able to offer Yoona more than what Lucas would be able to give her.

However, seeing how much more happier Yoona was to see Minhyun was like a bullet to the heart. It was the final reminder that he needed to stop these dreaded feelings.

He tried. Throughout the months of not seeing her, he focused his attention elsewhere. But after seeing today, the lingering feelings reappeared. f.u.c.k. He wasn't usually an emotional guy. Why was he this way?

He needed to stop. Now. His brain was right, putting some common sense in him, yet his heart spoke differently.

Eunha looked at Lucas and then to the couple one more time. Then she cleared her throat. ”Hey you two.”

Yoona turned around. Minhyun's arm was still around her waist. ”Yes?”

”Lucas and I… Got to go somewhere. Do you want to split the bill?”

Lucas turned towards Eunha with a confused expression on his face. ”What-.”

She hit his arm to shut him up. Despite them fighting all the time, she still cared about him deep inside. She was his friend after all. She was doing this for his own good.

Minhyun lifted his golden card in the air. It resembled a scene from a movie. ”I can pay for it.”

”Thanks!” Eunha exclaimed. Then she grabbed Lucas's wrist. ”Let's go.”

Although he was confused, Lucas went along with whatever plan Eunha was thinking of. After all, it wasn't like he was adamant of staying in the room anyways. He wanted to go out and get some fresh air.

Once they pa.s.sed the couple and went outside, the cold wind tickled their skin. The sky was already black and the streetlights were lighting up the streets. There was only a few people outside because it was a weekday.

Eunha lead him down the streets to a small park around the corner. She stopped once they reached the area. She placed her hands on her hips and let out a sigh. ”Oh man. Seeing them makes you feel real single am I right?”

Lucas sent her a glare. He ignored her statement and went straight towards the question that had been on his mind. ”What are you trying to pull?”

She turned her head towards him. Her eyelashes fluttered innocently. ”Huh? Me?”

”Yes you. Why did you bring me out here?”

A laugh escaped her lips. ”I was trying to save you, that's what.”

”Save me from what?” He asked bitterly.

There was a pause. Eunha felt a bit reluctant on being vocal on how she knew about Lucas's crush on Yoona, however, she decided to spill it anyways. It was better to be straightforward.

”I know that you have a crush on Yoona.”
