”Deal,” Yoona said with a smile.
She did not push the topic any further.
Although she was curious about the impending 'war' that Secretary Kim talked about, she decided to stay out of it. She had an idea of who would be involved and decided that it was better that she knew less about the situation. In the end, she trusted Minhyun to make the right decisions. He was someone who had risked to save her life and also a smart man who knew this field better than her. There was a reason to why he was at the top of the food chain.
Plus, since White Mask was with Minhyun, she was sure he had everything in control.
As she thought about it, her boyfriend's reliability was really hot.
A giggle escaped her lips. ”You know… Seeing you at the workplace is kind of hot. It shows me a different side of you.”
He raised an eyebrow. ”What do you mean?”
”I mean, I know your a CEO and all but I've never really seen you actually working before. I think it's pretty cool.”
While she was working, she talked to Eunha about Minhyun for a little bit. Although everyone was indeed scared of him, he was respected and admired by all the workers. In their eyes, Chae Minhyun was a G.o.d. Everyone knew that without him, MH would not be as successful as today.
Plus, when his father used to run the company, the conditions were worse for the employees. Many of the office workers were forced to follow standard company traditions like being forced to go out for drinking nights with their colleges, were constantly overworked, and did not have enough benefits and the same worker rights. Now that they were under Minhyun's reign, they are able to live a more flexible life, making them work harder out of their own volition.
In fact, even the offices were changed to be more ergonomic.
He made a huge difference in everyone's life in the company. Yoona wondered if he himself, knew how much people adored him.
The so-called 'devil' of the business world treated his employees with respect.
Well… If they worked hard that is. There was plenty of horror stories of Minhyun firing people for their mistakes. With the benefits, came the responsibility to do your hardest in the company.
This was why many of the workers were either from top universities or had an extensive resume showcasing hard work.
Of course, there was still problems with top-down management and abuse of power from higher positions… But, it was inevitable and Yoona was sure Minhyun would try to handle it to the best of his abilities.
”I should work harder then,” Minhyun muttered.
