174 Jealousy (1/2)

To boil it down, Lucas's restaurant was going to be a Asian fusion restaurant using Korean ingredients. Since he loved experimenting with foods from all over the world, he wanted to give a twist to these dishes while having it appeal to the Korean consumers.

He'd been working on all of these for a long time, trying different ingredients and searching for the best places to buy what he needed. For Lucas, cooking was an art. He needed everything to be perfect. Once that was done, then that was when marketing and the actually building of his restaurant came in to play.

After the months, he was finally satisfied with everything he had.

He was absolutely confident in his recipes.

Yoona was really proud of him. Before, when it came to Bianchi, he had to use the recipes from the restaurant. But to see him finally using his true talents to create his craft made her feel as if he grown up a lot.

So far, his recipes had run well with the higher-ups in the company and after they had a taste of Lucas's dish, they were more than delighted to approve the establishment of this restaurant. It was too good, there was no way they could say no. Now, what they had to do was determine the finances and their marketing strategy.

Yoona spun the pen in her hand. ”So… Will I ever get to taste these dishes? You know, for inspiration and stuff.”

He sent her a dead look. ”Don't you have professional chefs for your everyday meals anyways Ms. CEO's girlfriend.”

She placed her hands over his mouth while looking around. Luckily, he wasn't too loud and there wasn't much people in their office as it was more new. ”That's supposed to be a secret.”

And then she crossed her arms. ”Besides, I like your cooking the best.”

He scratched the back of his head, taken aback by her statement. ”Really?”

”Of course,” Yoona said. Then she let out a sigh. ”If only you were my personal chef…”

The slight redness in his ears disappeared, replaced with an annoyed expression. ”f.u.c.king b.i.t.c.h.”

She widened her mouth. ”Hey! Profanity!”

Yoona looked around, trying to find a way to get revenge. Luckily for her, his phone was right in front of her on the table. With a mischievous smile on her face she grabbed the device and hid it behind her back.

She stuck out her tongue. ”You won't get your phone back until you apologize.”

He put out his hand. ”Give it.”

She placed both hands on the phone and held it close to her chest. ”Nope.”

”You're so infuriating. Give it to me.” He leaned over to try to s.n.a.t.c.h it from her hands however, Yoona backed away quickly.

Eunha was at the desk working on the design prints for the restaurant. She looked over at the two and when she saw them fooling around, she shook her head.

Lucas, although he acted all tough, was going to be a mess. How will he get over Yoona at this rate?
