161 Sunset Kisses (2/2)

Her hands were right on his chest, her hands against his firm muscles.

Surprised, Minhyun widened his eyes. He didn't expect for her to make such a bold move.

”Yoona. You are absolutely crazy.”

She stuck out her tongue. ”I know.”

”And I absolutely love that about you.”

Not expecting the sudden confession, she quickly let go of him and covered the smile that arose on her face. G.o.d. She thought that she would be able to make him taken aback, but as expected from the MH CEO, he attacked right back with a smooth remark.

Curse her fluttering heart,”By the way, I don't think you'd be able to handle the front of my body so just work on the back okay?” He said in a teasing tone.

”You're so mean to me,” Yoona said with a pout. Nonetheless, she followed what he said and began to spread the sunscreen on his back. Her touch was gentle as she tried her best to cover every inch of his skin.

”I don't think you should call the person that just confessed to you mean,” Minhyun replied.

She retorted, ”I can too.”

After their sunscreen dried on their skin, the two quickly went into the emerald waters. Since it was so clear, Yoona was able to see most of the objects below and the fishes that swam around her.

It was fun playing in the water with Minhyun. They would splash around and swim.

While they conversed, suddenly, Yoona's eyes widened and she went underwater to grab the object that caught her eye. When she resurfaced, she came with a red starfish in her hands.

With sparkling eyes, she turned towards Minhyun, showcasing her find.

”Look!” She placed the starfish in front of her face, before moving it to reveal her smile. ”Isn't it so pretty.”

Minhyun nodded. ”It is.”

Then there was a pause. ”But I think that you're prettier.”

Yoona's expression was flat. ”I totally knew you were going to say that.”

She placed the starfish back in the water. Although she wanted to keep it for it was too pretty, she knew it wouldn't be healthy for the animal.

Before they knew it, the sun began to fall. Hours had pa.s.sed since they first went into the water. The two held hands as they watched the beautiful sky. The scene was similar to their Jeju trip. A sense of nostalgia rose up in her chest.

A sad smile appeared on her lips. ”This… Is nice.”

Minhyun hummed. His eyes twinkled as they looked down at her. ”It is. Being with you, in this beautiful place.”

Then he grabbed her shoulders and turned her to face him. Since he was taller, he slowly arched his back to be facing her. Yoona could feel her heartbeat suddenly rising.

”Hey Yoona…”

”Mhmm?”

He moved his hand to gently cup her cheek. The corner of his lips arose to reveal his das.h.i.+ng smile. ”Can I kiss you?”

A giggle escaped her lips. ”Do you need my permission to?”

”I don't...” He took a step forward, closing the s.p.a.ce between them. Their lips were centimeters apart. ”But my statement made your heart flutter didn't it?”

”You arrogant-”

Before she could finish her sentence, his lips overtook hers. Unable to resist, she wrapped her arms around his neck while his were on her waist.

She decided to forgive his teasing manner… Just this once.
