158 Surprise! (1/2)

While they were being driven back home by the personal driver, Minhyun glanced over at Yoona.

”You know. I feel like every time I see your friend, she gets more and more energetic.” He had met many people in his life, but n.o.body compared to that short-haired girl. He was similar to Ji-ho in some ways, yet completely different.

Yoona let out a laugh. ”Yeah, she's a little over eager sometimes. But in a good way of course.”

”It surprises me,” Minhyun said. ”Most people would intimidated by me but in front of me she doesn't budge.”

Minhyun stayed silent for a moment. The imagination of that small girl punching him in the face was clear in his head. ”I actually believe that…”

”But -,” he continued. He sent her a charming smile. ”I would never make you cry.”

Yoona scrunched her nose before kissing him on the cheek. ”Okay silly. Watch you make me cry one day.”

When they arrived home, Gloria greeted them with a happy voice. Minhyun, who was carrying Yoona's bags, placed them on the table. Then he grabbed her arm and sent her a smile.

”So I have a surprise for you,” Minhyun began.

”Well,” he said while leading her to the couch. The two sat down before he explained further. ”So I know that this week was really tough for us, so, I decided to give you a little treat for the weekend…”

”Treat? What is it!” Her eyes glistened.

”We're going to Bora Bora. Just the two of us.”

Silence filled the room. Yoona's eyes were widened in shock.

Then she let out a squeal. ”No way! I've only seen that place in the movies or on the internet. You're crazy!”

”I have a villa there so it'll be super relaxing,” Minhyun explained. ”And the view is breathtaking.”

Yoona could already see the blue sea in her head. The way it glistened under the sun… And the beautiful pale sand. Her nerves began to tingle with excitement. It was a place everyone wanted to go to. She never thought that she would be going this soon!
