132 The Risks (1/2)

Minhyun stood in front of the door, waiting to find the right timing to enter.

However, since there was no surveillance cameras or windows, it was impossible to tell what the situation inside would be.

Going inside was a matter of luck - they had to be cautious.

With a loaded gun in his hand, Minhyun glanced at the guards before nodding. He also made sure to send a signal to the other team to make sure they opened the room at the same time. His heart raced.

He prayed that he picked the right place.

If Yoona was not in either areas, he wouldn't know where to start searching again. He just wanted for her to be safe.

He took a deep breath.

”Go.”

The door flung open and he aimed the gun right in front of him.

His heart dropped.

No.

Only darkness and boxes were present to greet him. There was no living person in sight.

Minhyun cursed under his breath. ”f.u.c.k.” This was his absolute worst nightmare. He had chosen this room because it was closest to the location Yoona disappeared from, but to think that Jaemin chose the furthest one.

Or he could've already left.

Chills ran down his spine. He pressed against the Bluetooth piece in his ear, trying to get into contact with the other team. Please. He just hoped she was in the building.

”Sir. The girl is in room 203.”

Once hearing the news, he didn't even hesitate to run. The outline of the map was memorized in his head and he used his brain to figure out the shortest route to getting to her. However, while he was running, another piece of news was broken to him.

”She's currently held hostage with a gun against her head.”

One of the worst outcomes this situation could lead to. He cursed under his breath.

”I'm coming. Keep everything under control. If she has a single cut, all of you are dead. Understand.”

”Y-yes sir.”

Yoona tried to calm herself down, taking in deep breathes. The cold metal was pressed against her temple. Since she was on the verge of fainting she used all her willpower, she to believe that it wasn't there. Yup. There was no gun against her forehead. She was just being delusional.

However, as much as she wanted to control her emotions, reality was hard to manipulate. She was freaking out. The situation and gun was too real to ignore.

She was currently being held as hostage. Never in her life had she expected to find herself in this situation.

At the moment, there was three other security guards in the room holding their guns, aiming at Jaemin who was behind of her. With tense expressions on their faces, they were trying to get Jaemin to let go through bribes. However, he was not budging.
