Chapter 14 (1/2)
Thankfully, Tang Jianan wasn't really an ungrateful b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
He drove in a circle before coming back. Lowering the windows down slightly, only a portion of his face could be seen as he coldly commanded, “Give me your phone.”
Yi Eryang was indignant as he tried to bargain, “What's wrong with me appreciating it?”
Tang Jianan gave a cold laugh, “It's fine if it's you, we welcome you as an audience. The people we need to defend against are the gossipers in your office.”
Yi Eryang could only obediently hand over his phone. Tang Jianan deleted all the photos and tosse the phone aside before letting him onto the car. The moment Eryang got in, he immediately pounced over to choke him, “I'll see if you destroy bridges next time!”
He bellowed angrily, almost biting off Tang Jianan's nose.
Tang Jianan coughed a few times, his face turning red.
Feng Ping had already receovered and picked up the phone near her. Opening up the camera app, she aimed it at them and took three photos consecutively. She raised the cellphone and snorted in laughter as she praised, “This is a good angle, it's so ambiguous, who should I send it to?”
Tang Jianan and Yi Eryang finally stopped. Giving a look towards each other, both of them shot towards her to grab the cellphone in her hands. Feng Ping let them take it as she laughed, “Are you guys hungry? Let's go eat?”
Both of them asked her at the same time, “Do you have money?”
Feng Ping gave a mirthless smile at Yi Eryang, “I didn't have any originally, but now I do. Boss Yi, I think you still owe me a paycheck.”
“Not fair not fair not fair!” Yi Eryang protested, “How come I have to be the one that pays for your date?”
“Treat it as a viewing ticket!” Tang Jianan said calmly.
Feng Ping dared to actually laugh, “Don't speak nonsense, we're not da—”
Tang Jianan interrupted her, “Ping Ping, Eryang is our friend, we don't need to hide it from him.”
Yi Eryang began to yell again, “Wow wow, big scoop, it's such big scoop.”
Feng Ping was completely fried by ‘Ping Ping' nickname and was unable to speak for a very long time only to see Tang Jianan look completely normal as he continued talking, “That's right. Ping Ping is willing to pay me four thousand dollars every hour to go on a date with her, so why wouldn't I want to?”
Feng Ping's face hardened.
Hearing this, Yi Eryang's eyes almost fell out of their sockets as he did some mental calculations, “If it's four thousand dollars an hour, if you guys are together for twenty four hours, then it ninety-six thousand dollars. If you guys are together for thirty years, and each year has three hundred and sixty five days, then that's…um, million, billion, ah—” He suddenly yelled and turned around, grabbing Feng Ping's sleeves. He pressed his face to her arms as he put on a begging face, “Feng Ping jiejie, I beg you, let's date. Oh no, no, I want to marry you. From now on, I'm your person.”
Feng Ping had no clue when Yi Eryang learned to pout, and she didn't know whether she should laugh or cry. A hand suddenly reached out and smacked the back of his head, pus.h.i.+ng him away. He wanted to pounce back again except Tang Jianan was grabbing his ponytail, forcing him to sit back in his seat.
Yi Eryang loved his hair the most, so he let out a string of curses as he took out a hairbrush to put it back in order again.
Tang Jianan shot him a look before opening his mouth, “Being greasy-headed is an offence against public decency.”
Yi Eryang immediately reb.u.t.ted him, “Splendorous on the outside, shabby on the inside.”
Tang Jianan replied, “Vulgar.”
Yi Eryang mocked, “Impure.”
“Pretty boy.”
“You pervert, pig, devil, psycho…”
