Vol 1 Chapter 1.2 (1/2)
Chapter 1: Part 2
Lukana Octo was a twenty year old woman that owned a tailor shop in Mystica, located in the southern part of Asmodean.
It was a village which was worlds apart from the capital, Lasaland. Positively speaking, it was a simple and carefree village; negatively speaking, it was a piece of uncultivated land.
Being born there, the charming Lukana possessed an aura of elegance that had always caught peoples’ attention ever since she was young.
Lukana was not born into a wealthy family, yet why did she have a charm that commoners did not? This was once the popular topic of gossipers. Regarding the conclusion, people hypothesized that it might be due to her grandmother being a “Leviantan”.
The Magic Kingdom Levianta — it was rumored that there was such a country south of Asmodean. Just as stated in the name, most of the citizens were “mages”, having unimaginable powers and appearances that could only be described as “beastly beautiful”. Levianta was destroyed a hundred years ago, causing the number of mages to dwindle to pathetic numbers. And the majority would agree that most of the self-proclaimed “mages” are actually just scammers.
Lukana’s ancestor might have just been one of those “mages”. That would explain her uncommon aura of elegance.
And there was evidence to support this point. When Lukana was ten years old, she cried to her mother that she had a dream that “the village would face a drought”.
The rainfall of Mystica was already not high, originally, and the number of problems which were caused by the lack of water was also not few, thus, Lukana’s mother did not take her words to heart. She replied , “It’s probably a nightmare that stemmed from the experience which you had when you were young about the problems caused by a lack of water.”
Therefore, Lukana went around telling villagers about what she had dreamt instead. But everyone acted the same as her mother; they refused to believe the words from the dream of a young child.
The only person who was willing to believe the child was one woman. With golden hair and donning a black robe, she was there to pay a visit to Mystica’s n.o.ble, a guest of Earl Ferdinand.
