69 Chapter 69: Meeting (1/2)

Soon after he killed the troll other beasts came and he dispatched of all of them in a similar way.

He let all of his worries and frustrations in his magic.

Once he got back he brought one of the flying beasts she had hunted. And then cooked it's meat fro himself and for his master if she liked.

Not only five minutes after he started eating the already cooked meat, his master came and had a plate she handed him. He didn't know why she keeps plates with herself but he didn't mind much, as he got up near the cooked meat.

Using his knife, he cut small pieces and put them on the plate then handed it back.

She took it and stood in a corner eating it elegantly and slowly.

He used all his mental power to focus on eating without looking at her way. Things were really awkward between them thanks to him now.

He thought of just apologizing to her than leaving both to go by themselves, but he knew she wouldn't accept, as such he just reined his emotions in himself. Not that it mattered much to Eline as she could still see his feelings.

He had only just realized that he too can see her feelings.

Quickly taking a peek at the map in his left corner of the eye, he saw her feelings [Proud].

His eyes betrayed him and reflected his shock and sadness.

He realized that she only saw him as her disciple, and even if he would normally be happy she was proud of him, right now it only made him feel worse.

She didn't care even one bit, not even being annoyed or laughed or anything. She just didn't care.

Although he expected her to do something similar, it still hurt when he saw it with his own eyes. It was like your crush didn't even acknowledge your feelings properly.

Shaking his head he saw how his master had a hint of hesitation in her eyes after which she just took her plate and left after shaking her head and sighing.

He knew she had saw what went through him, and even that didn't bother her. He was disappointed.

But then remembered that he was Lori's lover, and shook his head and continued to eat his food.

As he already had a girl he likes, it wouldn't do to think of other girls.

Soon the morning came, and his routine started.

Standing in a clearing he waited for his master.
