22 Chapter 22: Magicians Guild (1/2)

With his mind made of, he got out of the s.p.a.ce and the room, and went downstairs. He sat on a table and waited for someone to take his order. If possible he didn't want to face Lori and Alaster right now but it was almost impossible, it's their inn after all.

Now that he thought about it, Alaster was actually the one who cooked for the inn. He had seen him coming out of the kitchen after he ate, and there was n.o.body else there.

'If he is that great a cook I don't mind being his disciple if he cooks for me' he joked to himself. And saw that another maid was coming to take his order, he had already saw that there were other maids in this inn.

”What would you like to eat for breakfast?” said the maid, and pa.s.sed him a menu to choose from.

Since he usually eats just meat he wasn't sure of what to eat so he chose something similar to his past self. ”I would take an Omelet and a gla.s.s of juice” she nodded and took the menu back.

Once she was gone he turned to see around, as unlike yesterday, today the place had a couple people eating. And once he saw that they ordered the same as him he was finally relieved.

After waiting for a couple minutes, he was served, and he started digging in. And it was delicious.

After eating, he wanted to search for a training area and if he didn't find it, he would head for that forest he pa.s.sed when he was coming to the city.

Once he got up from the table and started heading out, he saw in the corner of his eyes, Lori, doing her job well and attending to whoever needs her.

He smiled a bit, and continued outside. He didn't hate them or anything, it was just not his cup of tea to be a hero.

Now walking on the roads he once again resorted to the stall owners to ask information's.

”Old man this is good, I'll be sure to come eat here again” Ned complimented the stall owner for his food. And the owner just smiled.

Then he asked him ”Do you know a training area around here?”

The old man nodded his head as he said ”you must be new to training and new in here, if you don't know that” seeing Ned nod the old man added ”there is a training area in every guild, you just have to head to the guild that suits your needs”

Ned nodded and thanked him, leaving him a tip.

He then went into a store that sold maps. He didn't have time to look around, so he just went to the owner that was on a desk scribbling on a paper.

”h.e.l.lo, do you have a map that details the whole kingdom??”

The man nodded without looking up. And Ned waited for him for a bit.

After a few minutes, the man said ”Sorry for making you wait, I was at an important part” as he got up and went to a storage room in the back and got back with a map and he pa.s.sed it to Ned.

Ned took a look, then asked ”how much? I can tell that your work is good.”

”200 golds.” The man smiled a bit at the compliment and stated his price. And Ned pa.s.sed him the gold. And started heading out, but not before asking ”what is your name?” and the man replied ”Oliver”. Then Ned said he'll look for him if he needed a map in the future.
