Compare with Egyptian ra=G.o.d and note that the Sanscrit uttara could have been expressed in Egyptian hieratic script by the form of eye=uta and the sign for ra _i. e._ an eye within a circle (see p. 390 and fig. 62). Also compare the Sanscrit and Hindu citra and sitara with Egyptian seb-seta ”the hidden star,” pictured by the turtle, sit or cit, etc. (see p. 398).
