THE ORDER FOR
MORNING AND EVENING PRAYER
DAILY TO BE SAID AND USED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Morning and Evening Prayer shall be used in the accustomed place of the Church, Chapel, or Chancel; except it shall be otherwise determined by the Ordinary of the place. And the Chancels shall remain as they have done in times past.
And here is to be noted, that such Ornaments of the Church, and of the Ministers thereof at all times of their Ministration, shall be retained, and be in use, as were in this Church of England by the Authority of Parliament, in the Second Year of the Reign of King Edward the Sixth.
REQUESTS FOR THE PRAYERS OF THE CONGREGATION
| _When the prayers of the congregation are desired on behalf of_ | _sick persons, sufferers from any public calamity, or others,_ | _the Minister may give notice of the same before he begins the_ | _Litany, and may insert the words_ especially those for whom our | prayers are desired _in the relative suffrage to which the case_ | _is appropriate. Such notice may also be given at Morning or_ | _Evening Prayer before any prayers after the Third Collect are_ | _said, or in the Holy Communion before the Prayer for the_ | _whole state of Christ's Church is said_.
| | _And, when prayer is desired on behalf of any sick person, the_ | _Minister may during Divine Service use the Collect appointed_ | _for the Communion of the Sick, inserting after the words_ | visited with thine hand _the words_ for whom our prayers are | desired, _or he may use any of the prayers in the Order for_ | _the Visitation of the Sick, as the case may seem to him to_ | _require_.
