The muscular Celestial Army soldiers bellowed as they leaped upon and slaughtered the human soldiers like tigers amongst lambs.

“With just this, they dared to oppose our Celestial Army? Not knowing their own strength!”

A golden-armored Celestial Army soldier drenched in blood extracted his fist from the chest of a human soldier and coldly grunted.

The Celestial Army were an aloof existence. How did these mortal humans think they could oppose them?!

This was the consequence of offending the Celestial Emperor and opposing the gods.

“Kill them all! No survivors!”

The Celestial Army soldiers continued their advance, their expressions cold and cruel as they left the ground covered with corpses.

Bodies piled up like mountains and rivers of blood flowed!

The Celestial Army existed for war, and it had seen countless sights like this.

The Celestial Army had worked with the Doomsday Behemoths to destroy civilization after civilization. Moreover, they would enter a slumber after completing their mission, so for the Celestial Army, everything had seemingly happened only yesterday.

In these few short moments, the human army had already suffered two million losses. This war was far crueler than had been imagined.

The situation was perilous, and the human army was in grave danger.

The commanders of the human army had red eyes from seeing all of this transpire.

Even so, none of the soldiers retreated, all of them fighting until the very last moment.

“How are the preparations? Can they go?” Crown Prince’s Junior Guardian Wang Zhongsi said without turning his head.

“It’s no good! The scope is too great.” A voice came from the side. It was not one of Wang Zhongsi’s trusted generals, but the slender and wise figure of former Ü-Tsang Imperial Minister Dalon Trinling. “If we want to get that level of effect, we have to use that method, but it’s not something that can be readied in a short amount of time.

“If we use it too soon, the powerful energy ripples might draw their attention and render our efforts for naught.

“War is cruel, and what is at stake here is not one city, but the entire world. If we lose here, humanity will cease to exist.

“We cannot accept this sort of result.”

Unlike Wang Zhongsi, Dalon Trinling was a civil official, but this was precisely why he was able to maintain his cool no matter the situation, just like when he had chosen to sacrifice himself to protect the Ü-Tsang Empire.

One Doomsday Beast alone was far superior to the entire Behemoth Army from the war of the northwest, and there were eight of them. Together with the Celestial Army, they presented an unimaginably powerful foe.

As the two were speaking, an enormous shift took place on the battlefield.

With a massive roar, the earth trembled, and a giant black silhouette flew through the sky and jumped onto one of the Doomsday Behemoths.

At this moment, everyone could clearly see that this was the King Ape, nearly one hundred meters tall, with bristling fur and sharp, savage teeth.

Bang!

With a massive boom, the giant King Ape swung its long metal cudgel, smashing it onto one of the heads of a Doomsday Beast.

Sparks exploded, the immense strength of the King Ape almost causing the ground beneath to crack.

Hiss!

The Doomsday Beast hissed as one of its heads swayed.

The King Ape was Wang Chong’s first pet, obtained from the war of the northwest. It had tough flesh and boundless strength, and it was extremely agile. Thus, after Wang Chong had obtained the Behemoth Creation Art, the first creature he had chosen to produce in that secluded laboratory was a King Ape.

“Okay!”

The human soldiers instantly rallied.

“The Behemoth Army! It’s the Behemoth Army!”

Although no one had seen the Behemoths over these last three years, the rumors regarding the Supreme King’s Behemoths had been constant.

All the soldiers knew that a secret division had been using breeding technology to create these terrifying mythical Behemoths.

And finally, these Behemoths had arrived on the field.

Raaa! Furious roars resounded as that Doomsday Behemoth struck in the head began to fiercely counterattack.

One of the heads of this Doomsday Behemoth opened its maw and snapped at that King Ape, after which several of its other heads came over and bit down on the King Ape’s head, arms, and torso.

Boom! The Doomsday Behemoth’s several heads pulled at the same time, the horrifying strength tearing the King Ape apart.

The final head of the Doomsday Behemoth even spat out a gout of flame which immediately engulfed the King Ape and made it explode.

A moment later, that King Ape that had lunged out dropped from the sky in bits and chunks of scorched flesh.

This caught everyone off guard, and for a moment, the battlefield became eerily still.
