Chapter 11:  indirect kiss

“You can have this fish-flavored pork!” Chen Yu Shu also tried a piece, when she heard what Chu Meng Yao said, and too found it sweet. She was on a diet, so she should not be eating something this sweet. And so the rest of the dish was push to Lin Yi.

Lin Yi couldn’t care less. He would feel overjoyed as long as he got to eat meat. It does not matter whether it was sweet or sour. After such a tormenting day, Lin Yi was famished, so he started gobbling down the food as soon as the dish was pa.s.sed to him.

‘Tastes good. This is way better than the village’s shop. The appearance and ingredient were all exquisite, it cannot even be compared to the village’s shop auntie’s sweet sour pork. Why are the rich young mistresses so picky??’

Chu Meng Yao picked up a piece of boiled fish and tasted it. Her face turn red instantly due to the spiciness, and she stuck out her tongue while she used her hand to fan her mouth: “So spicy! Got to like this feeling. Is there water?? ”

She turn her head and saw a bottle of orange juice on the table. Without saying anything, she grabbed the bottle and starting gulping down the juice. After she drank half the bottle of juice, she said: “Nn, now it feels much better!”

Chen Yu Shu took a glance at Lin Yi, at the bottle of orange juice and finally at Chu Meng Yao. She was really shock about what just happened. Lin Yi, on the other hand, just stared at Chu Meng Yao blankly. He thought, ’didn’t know city girls are so open. The sight of her lip on opening, gulping down my bottle of juice looks so alluring’.

Chu Meng Yao was still savoring the taste when she realized Chen Yu Shu’s looks of disbelief. Immediately, she felt that something was wrong and asked: “Xiao Shu, why are you staring at me??”

“No….nothing…..” Chen Yu Shu sighed. Knowing Chu Meng Yao’s temper, she dare not to tell her the truth, fearing that she will do something outrageous.

“Then why are you staring at me??” This had made Chu Meng Yao even more curious. She shook her head and started to eat the boiled fish again. Naturally, it was too spicy for her, so she reach for the bottle juice and wanted to drink from it again…..

“Don’t…..” Chen Shu Yu tried to stop her. But it was already too late, so she swallowed whatever she want to said.

“Don’t what??Xiao Shu, what do you want to say? Are you alright? You don’t look so well.” Asked Chu Meng Yao with a look of concern as she set the bottle on the table and wiped her mouth.

“That….Never mind….” When Chen Yu Shu saw Chu Meng Yao’s innocent face, she felt funny and sympathetic for her. But to have drank Lin Yi’s drink twice……isn’t once more than enough???

“Xiao Shu, what are you muttering? Just say whatever you want to say!” Chu Meng Yao was getting a bit annoyed. Why is she being so secretive?

Under Chu Meng Yao’s interrogation, Chen Yu Shu had no choice but to spill the beans. She pointed at the bottle of juice and said: “this drink….this drink….”

“What about the drink??” Chu Meng Yao frowned and said: “All I did was drink your juice, what about it?? There are still a lot of bottles in the fridge, if you want more, you can also get it again? Do you have to be like this?”

When Chen Yu Shu saw that Chu Meng Yao did not realize the truth, she started laughing: “Haha….I can’t take this anymore…..Yao Yao have you not realized that the drink is not mine……”
