Uncle Chen introduced them once and let them go down to work. Sheng Fenghua thanked uncle Chen again before uncle Chen left.

When the servants arrived, Sheng Fenghua let her mother, Ye Qingge, rest for dinner and let the new Auntie Wu Cook. Auntie Wu was Wu Lin’s daughter-in-law. She was said to be a good cook. Since she didn’t have much to do at home, she went out to work with her husband.
