”Hey Vicky, can you watch your sister while I answer the phone. If she stops breathing just put the breather on until she starts breathing again.”
Victoria nods and she heads over there and quickly does as I told her.
I go over to the ringing phone, Maybe it's Dale. I pick it up. ”Hello?”
”I know its been a few years, but I'm sorry I left. I'm better now.”
The voice sounded familiar, but different at the same time. ”Who is this?”
”Do you not remember me? Its me, Josh. Your Ex-husband. The father of Sara and Victoria.”
I was in shock. Of course. But why does he decide to call now? ”What the hell do you want?”
”I want to come back home.”
”You leave me for another woman, and after all these years, you just think you can come back? You must have a very good reason. If not then hell no.”
He sighed. ”I want to be the dad the girls never had. I want to be the loving husband you always dreamed for. I want us to be a complete family.”
The thought of it made me weak, but I held in my tears. ”Why the sudden change?”
”Because I know what I did was wrong and I want to fix it.”
”Only on one condition.”
”Yes?”
”If you promise you never leave, and love both me and our daughters.”
”Of course.”
Rejecting to stay on the agreement I think of a new topic. ”Where are you now.”
