Chapter 16 - The Palace of Night

”It's just me and Mommy at home. My Mommy said she doesn't know what my dad looks like, and one of my aunts said I look like you, so I was wondering if you could be my dad's.” Little Rascal stared at him with innocent eyes, as though it was asking him a question.

In this world, the cleanest thing was the child's innocent eyes.
