89 Chapter 87: A Dark Comeback (2/2)

”An ocean?! How is that even possible??” Xia's eyes bulged out of her sockets

”He has an 'infinite attribute' from Hades, that power alone is immeasurable, on top of the massive additional black magic he obtained....he's certainly on par with an average dark god with the demonically wicked aura of a satan...” Eos told Xia

”No way....how am I supposed to beat him then...?” Xia asked with a worried expression

”You're not.” Eos said

”I'm not?” Xia raised an eyebrow

”Of course not, he's far above your league, millions above your league actually, you'll never be able to kill him, ever.” Eos bluntly said

”.....” Xia's fighting spirit had quickly slipped away from her

”You'll be fighting Hecate's girl instead, I'll be going after Hades's boy since I'm closer to him in terms of power.” Eos said with a sinister smile

”Innana? Perfect.” Xia widely smiled

”Wait.” Xia thought about something

”What is it?” Eos asked

”If I achieved turning my prowess core into a demenium from absorbing evil energy from a few demons and the dark miasma in the underworld, what would Luther's prowess core be since he has so much more dark magic than me within him?” Xia asked

”His prowess core is....” Eos's expression dropped

”What?” Xia saw the weird look on Eos's face

”It's an oblivion...” Eos said with a sigh

”An oblivion?” Xia didn't understand

”All of that immense dark magic within him tainted his prowess core so much that it turned into an oblivion, meaning his prowess core is now a dark source of energy that generates more black magic for him out of everything and nothing.” Eos said

”??” Xia was more confused

”His prowess core, oblivion, is like a waterfall connecting to an ocean that's already filled with an endless amount of water, in simple, his black magic by itself can be said to be infinite as well.” Eos tried to explain to Xia

”How? He has a mortal body right?” Xia asked in disbelief

”Hm...actually...no he doesn't, not anymore..” Eos laughed

”Somehow the black magic within him resonates with his soul, and doesn't destroy his body, soul, and mind because of that...” Eos said

”I don't follow...” Xia said with a confused expression

”Of course you don't...” Eos rubbed her forehead

”That boy...has definitely been reincarnated before..his soul isn't new if it can be a stabilizer for black magic....his soul must be very very very old..” Eos smiled when she came to the realization

”I wonder if Hades and Hecate know about this...” Eos said as she pondered about it, she was almost certain that Hades and Hecate did know about their souls

”Since we already established that Luther is a reincarnation....what about Inanna?” Xia remembered the godly aura she felt from Inanna that day

”That girl...it's also possible that she's a reincarnation as well....her body holds a lot of divine power for sure and that would be too much pressure on a mortal soul...and she's almost on par with Hades's boy...” Eos said, connecting dots

”I see now, it seems that these children weren't randomly chosen to hold the power that they do, nor did they obtain their power because they were pitied.”

”Hecate and Hades would never do that for any random mortals, I've known them for hundreds and thousands of years, they both could care less about what happens in mortal worlds, if so then they would've blessed other unfortunate children with the same powers..” Eos said

”Two powerful gods, focusing their full attention on two mere mortals? And giving them powers equivalent to a god? It makes no sense, they have nothing to gain from it.”

”Gods aren't as kind and good as you think they are....they only create their worlds and oversee it but they let the mortals control their own lives, gods will never get involved in a mortals life unless that mortal manages to ascend to an angel...”

”But for those two gods to stop overseeing their world just to tend to two mortals every question, wish, and demand, as if they're some kind of servants. Something just isn't right with that.” Eos continued to speculate

”What are you trying to say?” Xia asked

”Those two children aren't who they think they are or rather they don't know who they were...but Hecate and Hades do..” Eos wickedly smiled
