...

”And that's a threat?” Liam narrowed his eyes at her

”Yes, yes it is, prince Liam.” Ivery ran her finger across her neck

Liam rolled his eyes and opened the door, he slammed the door closed behind him as he walked out.

Ivery snapped her fingers and a loud thud was heard outside of the door.

...

”Ah!”

”Prince!” Two female voices said outside the door

...

Ivery opened the door and peeked outside, she saw two maids carrying Liam down the hallway, she smiled and went back into her office, closing the door behind her.

...

It was nighttime and Ivery found herself overworking again. She was too tired to keep on working, her mind kept drifting off and her eyes felt heavy and tried hard to close.

She made her way back to her room and just as she entered her room she stopped to look at Julian who stood in the middle of her room.

”What are you doing here, father?” Ivery asked Julian as she walked to her bed

”I'm here to tell you that it's time for you to go back to your classes in Crescent academy.” Julian said solemnly

”Crown prince Luther has already returned to Crescent academy as well.” Julian said

”Don't I have to do work tomorrow?” Ivery yawned

”No, I'll take care of most of the work from now on, just go back to the academy starting tomorrow, your carriage to take you there will be arranged.” Julian told her with a sad expression, noticing how worn out she was, he felt bad that he's been overworking her but it was the only way to prepare her for what's to come

”Okay...” Ivery laid down and instantly fell asleep on the bed

Julian sighed and left the room, hoping now she could have a break from her royal duties after working so hard for 5 months straight, and she never once complained and did all of her paperwork flawlessly. He was very proud.

....

”Princess..”

”Princess..”

A hand lightly tapped Ivery.

Ivery opened her eyes and rubbed them as she sat up and looked at the maid with a dazed look.

”Here is your uniform, your carriage to Crescent academy is waiting outside.” The maid laid Ivery's clothes on the bed, and put Ivery's shoes on the floor beside the bed. She bowed before she left the room.

Ivery sighed and got out of bed.
