85 Chapter 83: 5 Months Later (1/2)

5 months passed by and there was still no activity from Eos yet. Ivery soon had taken responsibility as her role as crown princess and has been aiding her father with country affair's ever since she returned home.

She had attended charity events, social gatherings, she even decided to use her powers for something beneficial and announced that she'd heal all of her people that were severely injured with no hope of recovery, people with illnesses, and people on the brink of death. But to make sure no one was coming to her for healing an injury after committing a crime, she had Loki read their minds.

Ivery in total had to refuse 57 people who had gotten their injuries due to terrible acts they committed. Those people who were refused all shouted and almost attacked Ivery. Ivery incapacitated them all and had them dragged out of the castle.

She received a lot of praise and worship from the masses and revered to her as the 'Royal Treasure'.

Ivery had been deeply looking into the Hollow's Castle for the past few months and she searched and asked her father how to go around the decree to free the children in there.

But she was constantly told that the council of Agres was hard to negotiate with once they vastly legalized a decree from an Emperor. The same day Illestrie, Julian's father, pushed Julian to make the decree for powerless royals to be put in the Hollow's Castle and face execution, the council of Agres felt the same way about royals with no magical capabilities being sent to a castle to be forgotten since they apparently weren't 'memorable' in any way.

Julian himself had been looking for a way to revoke the decree, it pained him every time he was forced to execute powerless children who had just turned 18. Being under his parent's control was as if his soul was being slowly stripped away from him and all that was to remain was an empty shell of what he used to be.

As for Luther, he had resumed his responsibilities as the crown prince of his country and eventually received control of half of the assets owned by Erdel, such as several lands, the royal office, and he already had control of half of Crescent Academy.

He now had full access to the royal treasury that can only be accessed by the Emperor, and the crown prince when he is permitted to have control over how the treasury is used, whether it's for country reasons or personal reasons.

Luther was nearing the role of acting Emperor of Fresia, where he would then have control of 90% of his father's assets, but currently, he only has 60%. Once Luther becomes acting Emperor, Erdel will step down from doing most of the public country affair's and leave it to Luther to handle so Luther can prepare himself to fully take Erdel's throne, but Erdel would still work on royal document's and private country affair's as the official Emperor until he officially gives Luther his crown and throne.

During several months that went by, although they were heavily busy. Luther and Ivery found time to see each other daily. They couldn't stand being away from each other for long periods of time, once they both began working on their countries affair's they found it hard to make time for seeing each other even though they desperately wanted to.

But after not seeing each other for weeks and only being able to communicate through the communication bracelet, they decided to reorganize their schedules and put off working for the last few hours of each day to spend time together.

They both sat on a couch in Luther's bedroom and Ivery laid on Luther's chest and his left arm was around her.

”It's been a lot happening lately...” Luther sighed

”I know.” Ivery was exhausted from working all day and every day of the week, having this break time with Luther at the end of every day was what she needed

”There's a lot more work to being royalty than I thought, I don't know if I can even handle doing this for two countries...” Ivery slightly frowned as she imagined the mountains of paperwork and stressful economic affair's she'll have to handle in the future, since she'll be the Empress of two countries
