For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Hebrews 4:2
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full a.s.surance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 11:24-29
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compa.s.sed about seven days.
