Chapter 3196 (1/2)
Chapter 7
East of Liaoning.
Harbor City.
In an intensive care unit of a private hospital.
There was a patient lying on the bed. This person was wrapped up like a mummy. Apart from his exposed hand, which was used as an IV drip, almost every part of his body was wrapped in bandages.
Next to the ward, two young nurses were discussing in low voices.
”This patient is so miserable, there isn't a single good spot on him. I don't know how he did it.”
”Yeah, every time I change his medicine, my hands would shake a little. That wound is really strange, even if it's a tragic accident, I'm afraid I won't be able to do that.”
”The head nurse said she had seen this kind of wound before. It was a little boy who had been abused by his foster mother. He had been beaten to a pulp. The wounds on his body seemed to have been whipped. It was too tragic!”
”What are you talking about?”
At this moment, a voice sounded from the door.
The two young nurses were so frightened that their faces changed. When they saw who had come, they hurriedly stood up.
”Director Huang!”
”Hi, Ma'am!”
The person who came was a middle-aged man in his forties. He wore a white coat and had a stethoscope hanging around his neck. He was the head doctor of the intensive care unit in this hospital.
Staring at the two nurses, Director Huang said, ”Is the hospital's rule for decoration?” I wonder if we can casually talk about the patient's condition? ”
The two nurses lowered their heads, not daring to speak.
With a cold expression, Chairman Huang said, ”I don't think the two of you are suitable to stay here either. I'll transfer you to another department later …”
”Director!”
The reason the intensive care unit was called 'intensive care' was because they were giving special care to the patients. Without a doubt, their salaries and pay were almost certainly proportional to their labor. Although the two nurses had graduated from the security school, their income here was much higher than the income from the white-collar workers outside.
When they heard that the director was going to transfer them, the two girls became nervous.
”There's no need to say anything more. I told you to leave just for your own good!” ”The two of you should go to the surgery first to train for a while, and then we'll see how you two perform. If you perform well, I'll transfer you two back.”
Chairman Huang waved his hand and made his decision.
The two young nurses' faces immediately fell, and they were almost in tears.
Director Huang said, ”Go ahead and have your head nurse come over.”
The two nurses did not dare to disobey the director's order and obediently left. Looking at their backs, Director Huang could not help but shake his head, ”Young people these days, really …”
In fact, Director Huang had indeed asked the two young nurses to leave for their own good.
In the intensive care unit, although the salary was high, there were many rules as well. The patients who could live here were either rich or n.o.ble. If they didn't strictly comply with the rules, they might get into trouble someday.
Chairman Huang could not help but recall the scene when the patient was delivered to him that day.
Although their hospital was the largest and most equipped private hospital in the city, with a lot of patients with money and influence, it was still the first time Chairman Huang saw someone deliver a patient by helicopter.
When he saw several soldiers helping two military doctors carry the patient down, Chairman Huang almost thought the patient was dead as his breathing was extremely weak. He even suffered from several episodes of shock.
Fortunately, he had managed to save his life. His vital signs were stable. It was only then that Director Huang breathed a sigh of relief.
