Ji Feng abruptly regained his senses as he shook his head and smiled, ”Nothing much, I just saw a picture of a friend.”

White Pearl nodded, and did not say anything else.

”Let's go!” Ji Feng sighed in his heart and took the lead to head upstairs. At the same time, he took out his phone to call Ding Wei Jian.

”Young Master Ji!”

After receiving Ji Feng's call, Ding Weijian immediately came out to welcome him.

Ji Feng shook hands with him and said, ”Just call me Ji Feng. We are all friends, so there is no need to play around with me.”

Ding Wei Jian nodded with a smile and made a gesture of ”please”, ”That is my honor …” ”Sit inside.”

After sitting down in Ding Wei Jian's office, Ji Feng went straight to the point, ”Captain Ding, you suddenly called me to come here. Who is it that wants to see me?”

Ding Weijian was stunned, ”What do you mean?”

In reality, Ji Feng was completely speechless. He didn't even know what to say anymore.

Hu Xuehui was on a hunger strike?

Was there anything more ridiculous than this?

Ji Feng might have believed that Bian Chun Lei was on a hunger strike in the jail, but Hu Xue Hui was the one who was on a hunger strike. Ji Feng wouldn't have believed that even if Bian Chunlei had been beaten to death.

How could Hu Xue Hui hunger strike!

Ji Feng clearly remembered back then on the campus of Mang s.h.i.+ County's No. 2 High School. Hu Xue Hui had personally told him that she wanted to live a good life and that she wanted to live in luxury.

For this goal, Hu Xuehui was even proud of her sister as someone else's lover. She even knew that her cheap brother-in-law had ill intentions towards her, but she was willing to do so.

Later on, her cheap brother-in-law was in trouble and she was able to hang out with someone like Bian Chunlei. n.o.body would believe that Hu Xuehui did not do it for money.

Could such a woman be on a hunger strike?

Ji Feng shook his head. He wouldn't believe it anyway!

The three of them immediately left the office and prepared to rush to the jail.

The few of them immediately turned their heads and discovered that at the end of the corridor, a woman was standing there. It was Li Ruo Nan who was wearing police uniform.

Ding Weijian apologized and then trotted over. The two of them said a few words.

Soon, Ding Wei Jian came over and said, ”I'm sorry, but I have a mission to complete. I'll be taking you to the jail now.”

Ji Feng nodded with a smile, ”It's alright, go back to work!”
