Chapter 40 Special Treatment
“Trust me, I was Fei Mu!” the old man emphasize his word.
“Say trust me once again, I will definitely kick you” said Wu Dong Fang with annoyance.
Finally that old b.a.s.t.a.r.d shut his mouth.
Because Wu Dong Fang was taken to fly all night, it really makes him tired and sleepy, just lie down for a while and he already fell asleep.
At dawn, after the old b.a.s.t.a.r.d woke up, Wu Dong Fang heard footsteps and opened his eyes. From the window a little ray of light can be seen penetrates into the house, he can see that old b.a.s.t.a.r.d was carefully leaves his bed and walked silently toward where he put his wine last night.
Wu Dong Fang lying motionless, he was thinking whether he caught that old b.a.s.t.a.r.d when he starts drinking or after he has been drinking. After thinking he pretended to cough once, although that old man is not yet eighty years old, at least he looks like already in his seventies, it is not problem to bully him, but he should not hit him.
When that old b.a.s.t.a.r.d heard Wu Dong Fang cough once, he surprised, after that he hurriedly turned his body and ran to the bed pretending to sleep again.
Wu Dong Fang began to think how to live with this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d, from how he moves and talk, you can see that this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d really have a problem, like to brag. We can’t always respect elders based on his or her age, but whether a person deserves to be respected or not. With this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d, no need to disincline/polite.
The day slowly brightened, drum sound can be heard from slave’s place, later you can hear noises outside. There was male voice shouting, there was also female voice that is calling you can also heard foot sound running around.
“What sound is that?” Wu Dong Fang rise from his bed and sat.
“Someone came to deliver food” said old b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
“Why you not join with them too?” asked Wu Dong Fang.
“I’m not slave”, old b.a.s.t.a.r.d rise from his bed and sat while pointed his finger to west wall and said “Can’t you see? There is wheat there”.
“Why when you lie down your back doesn’t look crook-backed and when you sit your back crooked down?” asked Wu Dong Fang curiously. Usually old people back will crooked down whether when they sit or lie down, but this old man not crook-backed when he lie down and when he rise from his bed.
“Even if I tell you, you probably will not understand”, said old b.a.s.t.a.r.d while wear his shoes.
“I just recently arrive in this island, can you tell me about the condition of this island “, Wu Dong Fang stood up.
“Why should I?” said old man while opened the door and then walked out of the house.
Wu Dong Fang walked out of the house too and then saw this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d leisurely peeing next to the door.
“Next time, don’t peeing near the house”, Wu Dong Fang looked toward northwest, there are bunch of small wooden houses, on the east side there is a vacant lot, you can see a crowd of people in the vacant lot, In front of a crowd, there are several piece of horse carriages. The horse carriages carrying bunch of wooden barrel, it contains rice and porridge. Close to the horse carriages are a bunch of soldiers, more or less there are fifties to sixties soldiers. They were chatting and joking, they did not partic.i.p.ate to distribute rice and porridge, the one who responsible for distributing the rice were slaves themself.
“It looks like there are about four thousand people”, Wu Dong Fang muttering himself, those slaves were dressed like a beggar, tattered clothes, you can’t even know which male and which female.
“Good eyesight”, said old b.a.s.t.a.r.d while tuck his p.e.n.i.s in his pants.
“Can you wait until you’re completely finished peeing than talk?”, Wu Dong Fang frowned.
The old b.a.s.t.a.r.d does not care what Wu Dong Fang said, tying back his trouser belt and picked up a piece of wood and sat on it, then yawn several times.
“What they are eating?” asked Wu Dong Fang.
The old b.a.s.t.a.r.d did not answer.
“Are male and female slaves all live together?”, Wu Dong Fang asked again.
The old b.a.s.t.a.r.d still did not answer.
Wu Dong Fang squatted down to saw the old b.a.s.t.a.r.d, the old b.a.s.t.a.r.d was not frightened, he opened his mouth and yawn, his mouth odor makes Wu Dong Fang turned his face.
“You’re not afraid that I will beat you?” asked Wu Dong Fang.
“Could You beat me to death?”, The old man c.o.c.ked his head as he asked back.
“Then you must be vigilant, because I will repay what you did to me,” says the old man.
Wu Dong Fang sighed, is hard to live happily on this island. The only one who doesn’t need to do manual labor is physician and he himself is actually a fake physician, he doesn’t know how to treat people and so he need to rely to this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d. As you can see, this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d doesn’t afraid getting his a.s.s kicked, he just can’t fight back, but he surely will get his revenge when there is a chance.
Old b.a.s.t.a.r.d crossed his arms, then use his shoulder to nudge Wu Dong Fang, “Young man, how about we make a deal?”
“What?” Wu Dong Fang wondered, why people in this world still like to make a deal.
“Give your wine to me and I will be your friend, how about it?” says old b.a.s.t.a.r.d while laughing.
Wu Dong Fang pop out his eyes while stare this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d mouth that almost doesn’t have teeth anymore and said “On what basis?”
“Let’s just say that yesterday you disrespect me” after finished saying that, old b.a.s.t.a.r.d stare at Wu Dong Fang with hostile, then hurriedly soften his face than saying “Just half, you can give me just half the wine.”
“How about this, regarding to treat the slaves, you will do it yourself, I will not take part of it.” Wu Dong Fang started to negotiate.
“Yes, yes, yes you can” the old man replied immediately.
“What are they eating?” asked Wu Dong Fang.
“Porridge but not porridge” old b.a.s.t.a.r.d replied
“What do you mean porridge but not porridge ?” Wu Dong Fang asking again.
“That is…… errr how I explained that, that is…., well, come with me, I’ll just take you to have a look at that “porridge” and that’s mean we have agreed with our agreement, yes?” this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d att.i.tude suddenly turned to one hundred eighty degrees.
“Let’s go take a walk!” The old b.a.s.t.a.r.d walked a few steps, then suddenly turns his body toward Wu Dong Fang and drag him along with him.
“Are they allowed us to see that porridge?” , Wu Dong Fang point his finger to the soldier near horse carriages.
“Calm down, my position are quite high in here” replied the old b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
Wu Dong Fang sighed again, living with this old b.a.s.t.a.r.d who likes to brag was depressing.
